The restaurant guy was least interested in serving us. At the beginning itself he said he'll take 40 minutes to even start making our order. There were hardly 15 people including us. Of those, about 8-10 foreigners were already on their way out. It was very clear he was only focussed on serving the foreign tourists. Suffering from acute colonial slave mindset. I had my 70 year old parents climb those steep stairs thinking the the view would make it perfect for our lunch. The guy didn't even serve us water even after asking for it. He didn't have plain rice for my 1 year old as well. When we confronted him, he immediately became defensive but offered not

We (4 travellers) stayed in the hotel for 5 nights. Will definately stay again. Our impression: we came as guests and left as friends. Staff is very friendly and helpful. They can help with organizing various trips in Kullu valley and surroundings, help with bus tickets, taxi, sightseeing - whatever. Rooms are clean, comfortable, with 24-hours hot water, good sleeping quality. Location is perfect, with fantastic view to Naggar Castle and Kullu valley. Restaraunt proposes good variety of food, one can find both Indian and European cuisine for reasonable prices. The best choice is grilled trout - fresh and tasty. Surroundings are green and quiet, Perfect place for daily trips to Rumsu village, Roerichs museum, other places of interest. Two bakerys and good food store are nearby.

Small place but all wood and very cosy with friendly staff and a location to envy. And when u add the rooftop from which the entire valley can be seen, you cant b asking fr more seriously. The food is served hot on the rooftop alongwith various beverages that r on offer. Not to miss the quaint roadside tea and maggi stall bang opp the hotel.

Very clean rooms. Warm and hospitable staff. Close proximity to the Nagger Castle. Despite being close to many other buildings it has a beautiful view from the room balcony and the Terrace Restaurant.

Amazing location for a vacation. Rooms are clean and cheap and is conveniently located right next to Naggar Castle. It is also close to an Art gallery and the Roerich museum. The staff is very friendly and the atmosphere is very relaxed. Only downside was that their in house restaurant was closed when we were there.

The hotel guys were told by me that I had booked 2 nights in advanced yet at the time I required 1 night stay only. They did not tell that the 2nd night reservation could be canceled if told prior 24 hours. At the time of checkout they did not refund me any amount and also I did not get any intruption in this regard from clear trip side. I had booked 2 rooms and thus I had to bear loos for the charges on one more night even though I stayed for 1 night in the hotel. This is simply a loot.

I temporarily staying there from 2000. Every year service better and better. Very nice restaurant. Friendly staff and good management. Booking office and computer hall on the 2nd floor. On the first floor store with important things. High season there start from end of may and finish begin of july. These dates good to booking before 1 month. Enjoy guys;)))

Hotel was good and photogenic but this restaurant guy was very rude... He was racist and gave extra care to foreigners He kept us waiting... And didn't took my order for 12 min.. On asking he simply said that he was busy!
