The view at Dhauladhar View Resort is absolutely breathtaking! The staff, Satya and Sadan (the chef), were super warm and ensured our stay was comfortable. But honestly, the best part about this hotel? The dogs. Lara completely stole my heart! She's the sweetest doggo and will be your companion throughout. Her little son is beyond adorable and just adds to the joy. Sadly, Alex (the majestic mountain dog) wasn't feeling great, so we didn't get to hang out with him, but fingers crossed he's back to his playful self soon! (Note to owner - please don't keep him tied) Yesss, this review is mostly about the dogs because, truth be told, they're the main reason I'll be coming back--and of course, to soak in that stunning view!

This place is like heaven . It's a hidden gem in the Dharamshala mountains, surrounded by breathtaking mountain views and lush greenery. I cherished my days exploring the area; it's a must-visit for nature lovers. The ambiance, food, services, and staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. Just remember, it's not a city hotel or a five-star property. It's a beautiful hillside resort, so expect services accordingly. However, they exceeded our expectations. The resort feels like it's in the clouds, with stunning snow-capped mountain views. The rooms are spacious and comfy. I'm genuinely amazed by this resort; words can't describe it. I recently had a wonderful stay at Dhauladhar Village View Resort in Dharamshala. The cosy rooms offered a perfect blend of comfort and tranquility, with stunning views of the Dhauladhar range mountains and a serene river flowing below. The environment is calm and serene, making it an ideal retreat for those seeking a peaceful getaway. The owner, Mr. Rana, and Anchal were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Their warm welcome and assistance added to the overall positive experience. The resort not only provides a breathtaking view but also introduces guests to the adorable pets, Lara and her puppies, who are sure to melt your heart. The accommodation is luxurious at an affordable price, making it suitable for both couples and families. The spacious and clean rooms, coupled with excellent room service, contributed to a comfortable stay. The hospitable staff and good food further enhanced the overall experience! The scenic beauty of the property is truly breathtaking. I highly recommend Dhauladhar Village View Resort for anyone looking to relax and rejuvenate amidst nature. We were able to stay in the apartment for three nights and we were mesmerised by the beauty of the nature in the area. The owners speak both Hindi and English and cook amazing breakfast, lunch and dinner, from homegrown ingrediences in the garden right behind the house. Getting a taxi is not an issue at all, it takes approx 20 minutes to reach Dharamsala and the fresh air and mountain scenery is definitely worth it. 100% recommended!

Beautiful resort in the laps of Dhauladhar Valley. We visited this place this monsoon and were in awe of the beauty that this place has to offer. We loved the comfortable stay and home-cooked meals. Their dogs, Alex and Lara, were very welcoming. Their host, Anchal, was friendly and made sure we had a lovely stay there. Overall, a nice experience one must have at least once. Take time from your busy schedules to rejuvenate and rejoice in nature.

The place is a must visit for travellers who prefer the quiet and the peaceful. But if you like the city, the property is only 20 minutes away from it. You get a beautiful view of the Dhauladhar mountains, and the blissful sound of the river running. You get the perfect view of the sunset. This property is a family's dream come true and they ensure the stay is comforting and enjoyable. Special thanks to Arjun bhaiya who cooked food to die for. I can't finish this review without mentioning my undying love for Alex and Lara. They will forever hold a piece of my heart.

Had the pleasure of staying at this place for new years.. owners are extremely passionate about giving their guests the best experience, they surpassed expectations on food. Every requirement was met with a smile and eagerness and "yes mam , ho jayega " Our family had a great time.. a few amenities like Hot water needed improvement, and we were assured by the owners that they r putting in new system. Apart from that its a superb place with a superb view , a great choice for a peaceful stay

We travelled in large group and booked entire place. The location and view from resort is fantastic. This is a perfect place if someone wants to have a peaceful holidays with family and friends. The food is simple but amazing. The owners are very helpful and friendly. They personally overlooked preparation when we requested for Himachali food. The staff is prompt and takes care of all needs. Anand who is supervisor arranged lot of games for our kids. He is a great guy. The place is value for money. There are few minor improvement areas which I am sure they will take care as they gain experience.
