KING CITY

Close to bus station. Had pre booked via Facebook as couldn't do over the booking site. Room of average cleanliness. Good hot shower once we turned the boiler on. Front of building so quite noisy (to be expected). Good a/c. No top sheet (not sure if this is standard in hotels). Staff were helpful in arranging a driver to go to the lake at short notice so get high marks for this. Overall average place.

The managers were very helpful and good natured. Offered me a room for Rs. 700. I tried bargaining but was unable to bring down the price. Room was strictly ok, no TV (although other rooms had one). The room was pretty clean and the bed looked neat. Had ample of blankets. Had some issues with the ventilation and the managers promptly fixed it. Really liked their positive attitude towards work. Absolutely no parking space since most of such hotels are on the main road. I had to park my car on the National Highway where most cars were parked on the side dumping area - around 300 meters away. I did notice a hotel few blocks away with its own parking space. The people were nice and courteous. Service was alright. Rooms were fine, bathroom had hot water available. There was television in the room. There was no WiFi. View from my room was good. Furniture was old and weary in my room, but it was better in other room I guess but i preferred the view. Rooms were cheap.

Nice hotel with facilities. They provide the room with balcony by which you can see the mountain, the near market place is good and you don't need any vehicle to go to market. There is the water flowing in Mandi, and it is directly seen from hotel balcony. Reasonable price.

Good hotel to stay with nice view in road side rooms. Though some items were old like tables and mirrors. Also ensure TV is working before you finalize your room. This is view from road side room.

The manager of this hotel whose name is Jagdish Bhardwaj who is a thief, dishonest and robber. Such poor service is from this hotel King City, here you will see the room once and if you do not like the room, then your money is completely deducted if you do not like it. They do the work of robbing. It is also said. Do not book by mistake to Hotel King City.

Most basic place but you will get hot water and blankets and Tv . Average place for people who want a place just to sleep for the night before they continue their journey towards Manali/Tirthan. No designated parking since it's right on the road. No kitchen but you'll get everything outside few steps away. 26dec 2021
