Hotel Shingar Restaurant and Bar

My stay at this hotel was profoundly disappointing.The condition of the room was extremely poor and fell far below acceptable standards. The room was not properly cleaned; the air conditioner was non-functional, and the television did not work. The bathroom was unhygienic, with a leaking Western toilet seat. Basic necessities such as a bucket, bathing mug, dental kit, and soap were entirely absent. The curtains were dirty and improperly hung, adding to the overall sense of neglect. The towel provided was clearly used and unclean, which was highly unhygienic and unacceptable. Moreover, no drinking water was offered during our stay. Overall, the experience was deeply disappointing and reflects a serious lack of attention to guest comfort and basic hospitality standards.

Horrible horrible experience. The rooms were damaged with stained walls, beds and what not. It was so bad that we had to request the staff for spare bedsheets which we got hours later at midnight. Warm water wasn't available, we had to bath in pure cold water in such a low temperature. The water had turned yellow from all the rust present in there, electricity was out half of the time. Extremely unhygienic. Overall worst experience, would advice the readers to not make such a mistake like ours. Absolutely disgusting.

The rooms were damaged with windows that we were not able to close and every single wall and even the bed sheets were filled with stains. We were so disgusted that we had to call the staff for an extra bed sheet but the staff service was so bad that they gave us the bed sheets after midnight. We did not get any hot water at all so we had to bath in pure cold water while the temperature was already very low. The lights were also not working most of the times. I hope that adter reading this review no onw would have to suffer the same experience we did as the rooms shown in the website were not promised.

Dirty rooms.. They did not clean the room.. there were liquor bottles in the wardrobe... there were empty biscuit packets on the side tables... Bedsheet was dirty... light was not working..!

This extensive property offers multiple rooms and a good restaurant, making it a decent stopover option on Mandi Highway for travelers. However, the rooms could use some renovation to stay competitive. Overall, it's a satisfactory place for a quick stay.

The food cost is a bit expensive but Not even good quality. We are visited for Dinner at late night so informed thfn to keep it ready. But some 60 - 70 Students groups accommodate for their Dinner our Dining place when we came at night. So Hotel Management didn't handle our Dinner Bcoz of that Crowd. We had waited for 40 mint without Seating and didn't get a proper Reply from Hotel management. Service is also very slow. Parking is available on Road and the hotel's location is few kilometres away from the main Mandi market.

Worst hotel I have ever visited in my life. Rooms are okay but the washroom was extremely bad smelling plus there was water leakage in all the room's washrooms. The behaviour of the staff is extremely bad and the service is extremely bad as well as the food. The most surprising thing is that when I complain about these issues to the reception person he tells me that it's your fault.

Worst experience ever. Never thought that this big hotel will try to steal our money by reducing the quantity of food and increasing the cost. Just bought the full lemon chicken but the quantity was lesser than the half of the dish . It is such a disrespect and disloyalty to the customer who expects good service from the hotel , for few rupees , i had never thought they would sell their self respect... greediness at its peak. You should know that you are only fooling yourself by fooling your customers , this bowl was half full for the price of 473 rupees which was lesser than 400 grams when i weighed it.
