This was my first time staying in a hostel, and Hosteller Manali made it a memorable experience. The place itself is quite nice and well-maintained, with a cozy and welcoming vibe. One of the best parts of the stay was the view -- absolutely stunning! Waking up to the mountains every morning was a real treat. The service was average -- nothing extraordinary, but it covered the basics. One thing I noticed was that the room was a bit smaller than it appeared in the pictures online, but the beds were very comfortable, which made up for it. What I appreciated most was that it felt like a safe and secure place, which is always important, especially for solo travelers. It's also very budget-friendly, making it a great choice for anyone looking to explore Manali without spending too much. Overall, it was a good experience. If you're okay with slightly smaller rooms and moderate service, Hosteller Manali is definitely worth considering for a scenic and budgeted stay.

My stay at The Hosteller in February '25 was a great experience overall. What I appreciated: * The central heating and 24/7 hot water were definitely a plus. * The staff were friendly and helpful, particularly at reception. I noted they were quite supportive when a fellow traveler fell ill needed assistance with a medical situation, which was good to see. * The location being slightly away from the main mall road offered a quieter relaxed environment and chill vibes. * The nightly bonfire was a nice way to socialize with other guests. Things to note: * There weren't many downsides, to be fair. * The prices at the in-house cafe were on the higher side. It might be worth considering other dining options nearby if you're not looking to burn a hole in your pocket.
Rooms - very well maintained, good and clean rooms. Rooms open up to nice views. Food - very disappointing, we wanted to stay at the property through our booking while we were forced to step out to get some decent food. Service - it's mainly self service, while the service levels could be better still Check in experience - okish Location - views from balcony are good, but the location is a little off road with a patchy access. Cafe & open areas - open area is pretty small but is quite well maintained and good to sit. Price - overall I would say it's a decent value for money property and a decently safe option to pick (if you don't have many options)
Had an amazing stay at The Hosteller Manu Temple--truly one of the most peaceful and relaxing hostel experiences I've had. The property is extremely clean, well-maintained, and surrounded by beautiful nature, making it perfect for anyone looking to unwind away from the crowds. It's located a little outside the main Old Manali town, which actually adds to the peaceful vibe. A big shoutout to Manager Gaurav--he was super friendly, helpful, and made sure our stay was smooth and comfortable. His hospitality really stood out. We especially loved the calm bonfire evenings, delicious veg meals, and the overall quiet, chill atmosphere. No loud music, no chaos--just good vibes. For those craving non-veg options, Zomato delivery is available and worked perfectly. If you're someone who prefers peaceful stays, clean rooms, and warm hospitality over loud party hostels, The Hosteller Manu Temple is a perfect choice. Would definitely come back!
Recently stayed at the property and easily the best dorm toilets in all the hostels around. Good shower pressure, floors were always dry and the mattress was comfy. Even the toilet supplies were quality. My friends traveling along took a private room which was quite cosy and had good mountain views. Located close to old manali main market which is a 5 min walk away, still boasts of peaceful surroundings with great views. Also forgot my smart watch in the dorm which was retrieved without a hassle. Great work.
I had an amazing stay at The Hosteller Manali near the Manu Temple! This newly built property is beautifully maintained, offering the perfect blend of comfort and adventure. The rooms are clean, cozy, and thoughtfully designed, making it an ideal destination for backpackers and solo travelers. What truly sets this place apart is the exceptional service and the warm, friendly staff. From check-in to check-out, they were always available to assist, offering great recommendations for local sightseeing and activities. The vibrant common areas are perfect for relaxing and connecting with fellow travelers, creating a fun and social atmosphere. The property is conveniently located near the ancient Manu Temple and is surrounded by picturesque apple farms. Every corner of the property offers stunning scenic views of the mountains, making it a visual delight. The tranquil environment ensures you feel far away from the hustle and bustle, offering a true "no-rush" zone. Whether it's a snowy day or a regular day, my experience was nothing short of magical. The breathtaking mountain views and peaceful surroundings made my stay unforgettable. If you're looking for a peaceful yet social stay in Manali, The Hosteller is the perfect choice. Highly recommended for anyone visiting this beautiful hill station!
Highly recommended. Good service. Polite staff. Food is too good. They allowed keeping luggage and using common area/washroom as we arrived earlier. All the items mentioned in the menu were made with so much grace that even simpler items turned out to be very very tasty. Must stay.
Food and ambiance were amazing! Chef Manager Rahul was very sweet--loved their hospitality. The view was stunning, and we had a fantastic time. The staff was super friendly, and the vibe was perfect for a relaxing getaway! The rooms were clean and comfortable, adding to the overall experience. The rooftop seating made for a perfect evening with stunning sunsets. Would definitely visit again for the great service and peaceful atmosphere!
