V Resorts Royal Kalinga Manali

Manali Trip June 2018-|I would like to start with Thanking the Vresorts Team specially Lovesh and Ravi for coordinating this wonderful Manali trip for me during my summer vacation June 2018. This is my second experience with Vresorts, I booked my 5 days trip back in month of March three months in advance though it was a gamble but i had faith in Vresort team due to my previous experience...||Highlights of trip:-|1.Pick and drop from home to Bus stop|2.Then pick and drop from Bus stop to resort.|3. Beautiful Villa to stay felt like home, roof top rooms with Awesome view.|4. Home like food all three days Breakfast :- Aalo Payaz paratha, Puri subji, poha, upma Lunch -Tawa roti with dal, Rajma, Karai paneer, masala alo, Aalo gobhi, Lassi, tea divided in all three days. Yummmmnyyy cant get the taste off from my memories.|5. Very courtious staff Mr. Thapa and family|6. Good coordination with Travel company for arranging taxi daily for sight seeing, very coutious drivers. Thanks to Mr. Bobby.|7. Pleasant weather not too hot not too cold.|8. Crystal Clear and clean washrooms, seems like untouched.|9. Jana waterfall trip and having lunch while sitting in waterfall and tasting local food SIDDU is the best experience of the entire trip of Manali it would have been an incomple trip without it.|10. Best Photographic location at Naggar Castle and Nicholas art Gallery and home.It was at hill top not possible to climb for elderly.|11. The endless shopping at Mall road, huge barganing, we use to end up at mall daily still couldn't get enough of it.|12. Van Vihar park best place for kids in Manli beside Club house which was also fun.||Lowlights of trip and Areas of Improvement :-|1. Bus did not arrive on time had to wait for almost one and half hour at bus stop, we were told to reach at 5 pm and we reached at 5:10..the departure was suppose to happen at 5:30 instead we had to wait sitting on our bags till 6:45 pm, excuse by bus conductor was Tyre puncher.|2. My stay was upgraded from Delux room to Premium Villa without my consent reason i am putting it as Area of important is because i never got to see what did i booked originally also another reason was the villa was 2km on hill top and i had to spend 300 Rs one way trip for 2 kms whenever i was traveling by self ouside my daily sight seeing trip which totaly costed me 1200rs. If i was staying at my originaly booked Delux room I would have saved that money as it was right on main road.|3. Bad traffic of Manali was a big turnoff, had to cancel my Rohtang trip due to 12 hours expected journey for 1 hour fun, also was told that we had to start at 1 am in night to reach on time still would take 12 hours.|4. I was not informed that Rohtang trip was extra cost of 6000Rs. I had an impression from my first deal email that 2nd day would be Sohlan/Rohtang so it would be my choice but did not notice that after i paid for trip Rohtang was removed, i thought it was not a big deal however got a shock when i was asked for 6k extra for rohtang trip, I wish i was informed in advance.|5. Due to huge trafic i could not get drop from resort to bus stand so had to pay Rs 600 to private taxi for 4 kms trip from mall to resort and then resort to bus stop on my return to home.|6. 16-18 hours long journey so avoid traveling with very young kids or people with vomitting tendency. Delhi NCR people has better option like Shimla and Massorie rather then traveling such far away place to experience same fun, snowfall we can also get in Kufri Shimla so no point traveling just for Rohtang.||Apart from these few lowlights overall trip was a memorable one and thanks to Vresort team again, looking forward to plan my next trip again with Team of Vresorts hoping the areas of improvement are addressed in next trip whenever that is.||

Booked before 2 month but without informing they took us to their interior v resort at 7 PM where you are forced to stay. Settled all bills at the time of checkout but they didn't provide the invoice with commitment that will be provided over mail since system not working. Called Mr Ravi more than 50 times not received my called later front office manager told me that no invoice are being provided at any hotels of Manali. Feels like got cheated with third grade people who are only concerned with one time cheated business. Worst experience not recommended and beware before you move for bookings.

This was the second time we took package from vresort as the first experience with Vresort kotabagh was amazing so we didnt gave a thought and booked the package for 3N4D without even thinking once and searchung for another options but I would say it was a bad call.Sharing some of the drawbacks of royal kalinga - vresort. 1) Started from delhi, had to pay extra for the luggage. 2) As soon as we reached manali, some confusion came up as driver was sot aure if he has to pick us or not, once he picked he was not aware which hotel he has to drop us and we helped him. 3) Poor service, they didnt care about the guests as we reached at around 9 in the morning and was expecting breakfast but got to know it is chargeable which was not mentioned in the package. Had to discuss with sales guy loveesh for the same and finally have to pay for the breakfast on last day of checkout as it is 3 bf and 3 dinner. 4) Have to pay for room heaters, again not mentioned in package. 5) At -4 degree temperature we had to go downstairs and literally have to beg for hot water for drinking atleast thrice then they bring a hot water in 500 ml contianer, again its a normal flask and waters gets cooled down in minutes. 6) There is no dustbin in the room. 7) Poor lighting. 8) Customer experience is the last thing they look at. Money is first because for every single thing you just have to pay. Every person will say you have extra for this or else talk to loveesh- sales guy. 9) Electricity - Sooper amazing- power cut in almost every hour and the best part is they dont switch on the generators and dont have courtesy to give candles or torch to customers- I should suggest charge for the diesel also to switch on the generators. 10) No non veg in main course and pay extra if you want it in main course. 11) Poor service from a brand like Vresort- Big dissapointment - Think 100 times before u book.
