Zostel Manali (Vashisht)

I had an amazing stay at this zostel! The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive from the moment I arrived. My room was spotless, comfortable, and had a beautiful view. The amenities were top-notch--especially the pool and spa. Breakfast was delicious with a wide variety of options. The location was also perfect, close to major attractions and easy to get around. I would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and hassle-free experience.

Everyone who is giving more than 3 stars is either new to the concept of well-maintained hostels or is too inexperienced in the hospitality sector. Pros: 1. Views are good, even from the rooms. 2. Rooms are well maintained. Cons: 1. Approach road and walkway is very very poor. There's an uphill climb of About 1.5 km from the main road and the uphill road is broken completely in places (because of overflowing streams downhill). And then the walkway from the main road has a congested, dirty washing area as the entrance. Then there's an alley that goes uphill, surrounded by buildings and sheep pens and dirty poop. Even the alley and walkway is broken in multiple places and there's no railing to provide support. If you're not careful you may fall down 10 feet onto the roof of the next house. And there's no lighting at night. 2. Food and services are too expensive. They don't have food options for a single person, which is shocking given how many people travel solo to these hostels. The support staff is a mix of helpful people and cold, distant, unfunny people who never smile. 3. The manager of the property acts like a land owner in Haryana. Rude talker, full attitude, no hospitality skills. I understand that people in that area just have that kind of a personality, but zostel can do a better job finding ANY other manager for the property. I had a hard time asking him basic questions and requests, and after a certain point I just gave up and accepted my fate of not having any specific requests even considered, let alone addressed. So if you are okay with living like a peasant on someone else's property (guest in a distant, aloof family), with average food and services, and relatively unsafe walkway uphill, be their guest. Otherwise go for any other hostel in vashisth or consider zostel goshal road.

Awesome view, best location and friendly staff. Budget friendly stays. Good crowd. This place has no parking since it is on a hilly area. You need to walk 5-10mins from main road. It's difficult to walk if you have heavy luggage. Zostel cafe is the best. Very tasty food and budget friendly. Common area has lot of games. Great for shopping, since mall road is hyped and expensive and Vashisht gives you a really pocket friendly shopping experience.

There's truly no better place to stay in Vashisht than Zostel. I particularly love it for its perfect location, the warm and friendly staff, and the top-notch hygiene standards they maintain. As a female solo traveller, feeling safe is extremely important to me, and Zostel has consistently provided that sense of security. I've travelled to Vashisht ( near Manali) over ten times now, and every single time, I find myself coming back to Zostel. Along with a comfortable bed, guests get access to the entire facility, which is simply phenomenal. A special thanks to the Zostel management team, especially Vivek and Gayatri, for always making me feel like part of the family. Highly recommend it to anyone visiting Vashisht

It was a great first experience at the Zostel. I stayed in Dormitories. I really liked the rooms and the overall facilities provided by them. Also, the staff was super friendly and really cooperative. I will definitely be staying at Zostel again. Only con is a parking facility which is not provided by the Zostel and had to park the vehicle about 300 mtrs downhill in a private parking lot. Irrespective of that I will definitely recommend travellers to stay at the Zostel. It will be a wonderful experience.

I booked a stay at zostel vashisht for one week from 25 th april upto 2nd of may.I arrived in the zostel at 7 am in the morning as the check in time was at 12 pm then I requested to get the early checking. Staff was very supportive they gave me the early check in.Specially I wanna say thank to ms . GAYATRI JI for hosting me ,it was a wonderful experience and she was very calm and cooperative to listen to the guest issues. If anyone is planning to come to zostel vashisht you can ask gayatri for any kind of help and support.

I stayed in two bed attic dorm, view is amazing from this property. Location is perfect for someone who love nature.. If you are in this property you are just disconnected from city crowd. Hardly 5-7 mins walk to Vashisht temple If you are carrying a trolley , call zostel for porter, they will arrange it.. Food was decent, price wad decent, if you compare it from the shops in Vashisht lane.. You will realise price for food is okay.. Overall a perfect stay for workation and for someone who loves nature
