VAYDIC RESORT YOGA RETREAT

If you seek a peaceful retreat away from city noise, nestled in the forest with views of the Himalayas, and enriched with Vedic yoga sessions and delicious homemade vegetarian food, look no further! Tanuj, the caretaker, is always available to assist and even offers holistic and incredible yoga sessions. The basic room was small but offered great value for money. On my last day, Tanuj showed me the deluxe room, which would be my choice for my next visit soon.

It's a lovely place to retreat into nature. It's part of kasauli it's not very high up in the mountains so don't have an expectation of a great mountain view, although the views are amazing. Lush green all around and the property itself has cute flowers and plants all around. This is not a luxury stay it is a NATURE/YOGA RETREAT. If that is your expectation and you are able to come and be one with nature and the place, you will have an amazing time here. The management are all highly knowledgeable practitioners of yoga and spirituality. Would recommend doing a course here with them.

Lovely place.. So in tune with nature... Slightly away from Main City.. But easily accessible if you have a car... Good for a secluded getaway for rest and spiritual recharge. The Wooden Cottages are beautiful and personal with a quaint little balcony and a lovely garden.. Food is really good but only veg.....

A really good stay for us here. This place is located at a very peaceful place at Kasauli and it takes just 20 mins drive to reach here from the Mall Road. We wanted to check the rooms first so that we can make a choice but the owner was asking us for money even to check out the rooms. Here are some points to consider: Pros: 1) Peaceful place at an offbeat location 2) Superb weather 3) Good food service Cons: 1) Very low lighting in the rooms and in the surroundings. 2) Too many insects in the room. 3)No side tables in the room 4) Very small and congested rooms. 5) Owner was asking for money even to choose and checkout the rooms.

It's located at quite isolated place, however road conditions n connectivity is good. - On road property, won't require much walking from parking space. - Views around are just amazing, lush greenery all around. - Quite a peaceful and relaxing place, no noise, no traffic, only birds chirping around and Trees making some noise. Cottage Interiors: - Rooms are not that comfortable, quite small in size, just a double bed space and little walkable, so don't expect much. - All wooden deck and doors, so lot of peepholes, but these are isolated cottages so less worried about privacy but insects might be a concern. - Rooms were not cleaned properly, lot of spider webs accross the corners n doors, couple of flying insect that can scare anyone, but staff says it's not harmful, but I doubt. Offcourse it's close to nature n forest area so can expect such instances, but that can make people uncomfortable. - Very basic bathrooms, No provision of shower, can use tap and bucket. Broken sink. Toilet was clean but very uncomfortable, wasn't functioning properly. - Beds were little uncomfortable (maybe because of their structure), No ceiling Fan (just a Table fan hanging around) it's not always that cold here (specially in summers) so hard to bear that heat at night mostly. - Poor lightning in the rooms, only two LED bulbs. - Not much concept of Cupboards or Safes to keep your bags, valuables or clothes even. - You can expect a filthy Towel if asked for an additional one. (Worst experience about it). Food: - They have their own kitchen and a menu, but imited options due to remote place. No nearby restaurants, would need to drive all the way Up again to have some options. - We tried few items, but can't expect much in terms of taste. (Dal and stuffed Parantha is always a safest option in Hills). - Overall food is fine, if not great. And some items are highly priced. Others: - No hand towel, or toiletries, just a basic soap, not even Shampoos. - Smart TV is there but No Wifi, or DTH connection. Jio's network is quite poor here, Airtel was fine. - Broken switch boards. some openly pinned wirings too. - Nice private open space is available outside cottage, but chairs are not that comfortable, and again can't sit outside at night due to flying insects. Though they might not harm you, but still can't take that risk. - Can take a walk on nearby road, quite peaceful and refreshing. Also there are some small treks nearby to explore for adventure seekers, and some farm areas too. Can find lot of Pinefruit trees all the way around and various other plants species. - Quite a supportive staff. - Very limited basic services though, but room's price are not really justified, felt quite overpriced.

The Stay wasn't pleasant at all. The rooms are not even 10% close to the pictures they have uploaded. We reached there late and the staff was not willing to attend us. They denied basic room services as well as basic as a bottle of cold water. The bathroom had water issues and they don't even provide with accommodations for the driver we had breakfast in the morning that was the only good thing about the stay. please be sure before booking the place.

Right in the middle of nature. Very humble staff. Great view from the cottages. Deliciously cooked food as well. Bit on the expensive side though. Bathrooms were especially not upto the mark. But a great stay nonetheless

Secluded Property hosted by an amazing host - Tanuj. If you are looking for Solace in the busy town of Kasauli, this is the best place to stay. Cottages gives you a private backyard area to sit and chill. Would love to come again super soon!
