The Woods Kasauli

I recently had the pleasure of visiting The Woods Kasauli, and it was an unforgettable experience. The location is absolutely stunning, offering breathtaking views and a serene atmosphere--perfect for a relaxing getaway. What truly stood out was the exceptional hospitality provided by the team. Their warm and welcoming nature made us feel at home, adding a personal touch to our stay. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat, and I am already looking forward to visiting again!

My husband and I spend 2 beautiful days at The Woods last November and we loved every moment of it. The owner was very polite, considerate and helpful. He helped us with booking a cab at the early hours of the morning and giving us helpful tips on what places to visit etc. The view from the room was stunning. Loved the spacious balcony which gave us a lot of privacy too. The food was delicious. The room and bathroom was spacious and well equipped. It was a warm, cozy feel. Felt more homely than the usual hotels and was a refreshing break from city life. Would love to come again.

Beautiful homestay run by the most welcoming Mr MF Sarkaria at the entrance of Kasauli on the Parwanoo- Kasauli road. If you are planning to just visit Kasauli, this is the perfect location. In case you are planning to go to Dharamkot/ Solan/ Shimla, it is on the other side of Kasauli and you might have to fight some traffic. The views from the property are stunning. You can see sunrise/ sunset basis the room you are staying in. There is common area where you can see the most amazing sunset. Sometimes the clouds will roll in into your balcony and rooms. Bonfires can be arrange with previous intimation. The rooms are large with a sitting area, kitchen, bathroom and balcony. The furniture is old wood and comfortable. The place js a little old, and the maintenance is slightly lacking, but is worth the price. The cherry on the cake was all the interactions we had with the owner ans his son. They helped us with directions, everything during the stay and made us feel at home. It is a good place to come with friends / partner.

Have been to this property muktiple times and Mr Sarkariya has always taken best care of us. Property is away from the hustle bustle and has an exceptional view. Property has a homely charm and you can spend days here.

1. I informed I am coming with a baby, nobody informed that google maps doesn't show the right way. With car too the roads are too scary with baby. 3pm to 6pm we were harassed in Kasauli finding the property. We had to trek for 30 mins where mother had to feed the baby on the way. 2. At the entrance they made us wait for 15 mins since we were not informed our villa number which they required for entry. 3. Our singer booked at 7pm reached at 8, might have faced the same issues. There was no arrangement on where he will set up and all of us had to create the setup which was done by 9:15 4. We placed our order for dinner and that was late. They without any information just got 30% of the order of that was available. And the food was extremely oily. I am sharing a picture of the food where we could separate the oil in different container. 5. They took money for groceries in breakfast. 6. We had informed before hand helpers and 9guests on call. They told me 1500 extra for helper bedding and nothing for guests. In they morning they had guts to harass again for extra payment (especially some woman name Tanya) We had absolutely no issue with the cook or Mr Manoj. But the management is TOO BAD. Worst, absolutely experience given by you all.

Wonderful place....secluded and quaint....privacy guaranteed. Valley facing with excellent view from everywhere, bathroom, bedroom and balcony. The caretaker was courteous and the owner is helpful. Food by balvinder is yummy. The room fittings are old and need a repair but everything is functional and working. Wifi is good and weather was perfect.

Convenient location, proper place for Parking, easy food order, a cute balcony and a wonderful view..this place has everything if you wish for a nice cozy trip to Kasauli. The Host is very nice and helpful and would go to any length to clear any hassle you face. Highly recommended!!

Home away from home with the bonus of lush and captivating scenery. The host made sure that it's a comfortable and a safe stay with easy access. Definitely deserves a re-visit.
