Samaa Resorts

We stayed at Samaa Resort in Chitkul from 7th to 8th June, 2019. Location of the Resort is excellent. From the room one can have a view of beautiful valleys and snow covered mountains. Baspa river is also hardly five minutes walk from resort. Room was very neat and clean and curtains hanging on the windows are of good quality and well matched with the room. Beds were very comfortable and woolen bedsheets and blankets provided were warm and very clean. Wooden flooring was looking very beautiful and neat and of good design. Bathroom was very clean. It has all the facilities like Geyser, TV etc. Food was very tasty. Staff was very cordial and their service was excellent. Parking has lot of space. This is a must stay Hotel in Kalpa. Would highly recommend the rooms on the higher floors which have an amazing view of the snow clad mountains . That view from the large window panes as you rest in your bed is divine . Manmeet are Manali were the owners who took good care of me and the other guests and ensured my safety and showed extra concern as I was travelling solo. The food was just great. Cold coffee was outstanding - far better than my expectations ! That coffee with the sunset view from your room is an experience I will never forget . Courteous staff , quick service . spacious clean rooms , neat interiors , good vibes.All in all a good experience.

You can not obviously compare it's location with HP tourism hotel. But this one has it's own charm. Very well maintained. Neat and clean. Looking at the room you will feel like a guest room and not an ordinary hotel room. From the top floor rooms view is amazing particularly during sunrise. They have one amazing cook who can do wonders even with bread omelette. kalpa village is walkable distance and you should pay a visit. If you face any small trouble just tell them and they will sort out though we have not got any.

Since Kalpa is a small town and well connected.The hotel has awesome view of snow cladded peaks, but the rooms are not clean. We enjoyed the view from balcony on 2nd floor.You can not obviously compare it's location with HP tourism hotel. But this one has it's own charm. Very well maintained.

Kalpa is a beautiful and breath taking place. We all had a lot of fun and samaa's staff made the stay very comfortable. The view from resort is just amazing. you can sit for hours just sitting at the window. The hosts manmeet ji & manali ji are really very humble and makes the best host. I would recommend Samaa Resorts to all the travel souls who are looking for a beautiful experience in the Valleys of Kinnaur.

Since Kalpa is a small town and not well connected, there is not much of an option for staying. This is a decent hotel with great view. Could not meet the owner as they were traveling. The view from the balcony is great. Not much of an option for food though. Bus stop is right in front.

View from room no 301 was very beautiful, room was carpeted and was neat and clean. It lacked amneties like Tv, geyser, heater, Ac, Fan,dustbin, cupboard, hanger etc. It is a cold place so Ac, Fan are not required. Menu was extremely limited and staff was untrained but ready to serve. There is no parking and security. Room is expensive in comparison to amneties, entire region of kalpa has rediculous pricing when it comes to hotel or homestay. My stay was very short hence not many issues. I have found that many pictures posted of the resort are not accurate, so visit multiple booking platforms to know exactly what to expect.
