Giriganga Resort, Kharapathar

Had a lovely stay at Giri Ganga Resort (HPTDC)! The staff is extremely courteous and helpful, and the service was genuinely impressive -- warm, prompt, and welcoming. Food preparation was homely and delicious, perfect after a chilly day in the hills. The resort is located just a few meters from Khadapatthar, making it a great base for exploration. There's plenty of parking, which is a big plus in hilly areas. Rooms were clean, equipped with heaters and 24-hour hot water, and offered beautiful valley views. The balcony is spacious enough for two people to sit back, sip tea, and enjoy the peace. There's a certain 90s charm to the hotel -- simple, functional, and comforting. If you're looking for a peaceful, nostalgic retreat in the mountains with reliable amenities and warm hospitality, this place won't disappoint.

Budget hotel with a nice view of the valley. Situated right next to the national highway at Kharapathar. Apple orchards nearby. Cooperative staff and a restaurant, with room service on site.||Minimal facilities. Little space other than the hotel building.

Good place in the hights of Himalyan hills surrounded by apple orchards. Very few options of food and snacks.

Had lunch at this hotel. It's on the National Highway, in a good location. One can see Apple Gardens downhill.

It is a wonderful place situated at the hill of Kharapathat. Jubbal valley can clearly seen from here. Waiters are not so professional. We have a lunch here waiter is while serving us is taking on telephone. Speaking rudely. Food was good in taste. Washrooms are not clean l

Please note there are no hotels or resorts on giri ganga it's just the temple but you can camp there with a tent and it's a very beautiful place away from the high crowd in a jungle.

We had done online booking on HPTDC website and booked the Suite room, which is quite cheap. The rooms are bit old and carpet is rugged, but is quite big with separate living room. The hotel is on the Highway, so you get to see traffic outside from living room. We were lucky to get hail storm during our stay and the view from the balcony was awesome. You might have some issue with insects flying around at night, though mosquito net is there. Food quality is basic, but tastes very good - North Indian and Chinese cuisine available - no Tandoor food though, but you can't expect at such remote location!!. We like the Veg cutlet very much and the French toasts !!...Tea is of good quality. They have very good geyser (piping hot water) in bathroom. All in all - moderate & enjoyable stay...can spend couple of days relaxing in lap of nature..not much activities around except for a small local market where you can enjoy chai, samosa & mewa sweets !!
