Jallow Cottage

We were delighted to stay there. The memory of our stay will be etched in our thoughts forever. The views of the property gives you a treat to your eyes starting from sun rise to sun set. The serene untouched beauty of the place rejuvenates your soul. The highlight of the say was the hospitality of Mr. Jashwant Chauhan who owns this property. His personal attention for every need just so heart warming. Each dish we ate had a touch of affection and love. It was reflecting the culture and tradition of the community. The rooms had new linens and toilet was absolutely clean and fitted with latest fittings. We enjoyed every bit of our stay and strongly recommend. Its more than a value for money. Thank you Mr. Chouhan for hosting us.

I visited Jallow cottage in early June 2019. If you are a nature lover, are looking for places which are away from city life and are fed up with rush of popular tourist destinations.....then this is the place. The cottage is around 10 km from Kharapathar and has spectacular view of the higher Himalayas. There is a natural water source nearby which provides a great trekking experience. As for the hospitality, Mr Yashwant, the owner, did a great job in making the trip comfortable. The home made food was excellent and majority of ingredients were locally grown. The lodging is well built with all the modern amenities. In short, it is an escape from the rush of city and is luckily not affected by over tourism. It was a well spent vacation and I would surely like to visit again.

Very nice, homely and cosy stay. One can enjoy peace and relax in nature around. Nice views... Home made food is great....

Staff behaviour and the person who picks up the phone is not upto the mark, can be categorised as rude.
