The Mountain Paradise Hotel Rewalsar Lake Mandi

I will preface this review by saying that, when rating the quality of village hotels in rural India, everything is relative. And relatively speaking, Mountain Paradise is genuinely great. I've stayed in several places in and around Rewalsar, and this is the cleanest, most peaceful and comfortable place by far.||First, the location is unbeatable for sprawling views and a peaceful environment. The hotel is above the main village of Rewalsar and below the famous monastic caves located just up the road on the mountain ridge. It is run by a local family who will do everything they can to ensure you are comfortable and well fed. And the wife is a good cook!||To get to the hotel does require some chutzpah on the part of the driver. But if you're with a Himachali driver who is very comfortable on mountain roads -- and comfortable doing 180-degree turnarounds for two steep switchbacks on mountain roads -- you'll be fine. ||The rooms are spacious and reasonably appointed, and four rooms have balconies overlooking the village and valleys. The hot water heater is slow to warm up but eventually it gets there. ||There is a large terrace and dining room downstairs for tea and meals with a view that is perfect for enjoying sunrises and the lights of the surrounding mountain villages at night. The downstairs area also has guest rooms, but that portion of the building is a homestay operating as Riva, and those rooms are subject to more noise since the dining area for the hotel guests is right outside their door. ||We were a group of eight people staying in six rooms, and I would be delighted to bring another group to stay here in the future.

The hotel was absolutely beautiful. The hosts and their family made our stay incredibly pleasant. Not only did they help us with local sightseeing tips, but they also prepared personalized meals for us. Highly recommended! The beds and bathrooms were very clean, and everything was well maintained overall. We'd love to come back again!

The hotel is a 5 min walk from the main road. The rooms are decent and clean. The food is not just home made, it is custom made for you. The owner gives individual attention and gives guidance on the nearby places to visit and how to get there. It is accessible by car and for families with elderly people it might be one of the few home stays where this is even possible. The views are scenic and face the east so the sun rise is scenic. Would definitely recommend.

Hotel Review: I recently stayed at [Hotel Name], and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The check-in process was smooth and the staff were welcoming and professional. The room was clean, well-maintained, and had all the basic amenities I needed. I especially appreciated the comfortable bed and the view from the window. The location was convenient, with easy access to nearby attractions and restaurants. Breakfast was included and offered a good variety of options, both hot and cold. On the downside, the Wi-Fi connection was a bit spotty at times, and the soundproofing between rooms could be improved. Despite that, I still had a relaxing stay and would consider coming back in the future. Rating: 5/5

I stayed here with my family . Locality of hotel at very peaceful place . I enjoyed here so much . Owner is very friendly and nice guy . View from rooms balcony and terrace is very awesome awesome and the view is kind of therepy. Homemade food is available and that was very delicious . I don't feel that I'm away from my home . We really enjoyed our stay here. Clean rooms, great view, quiet and calm. Nice service. It's a little uphill from the lake but when we were tired in the evening we just took a taxi.

Excellent location best scenic view from room. Service is unmatched the owner is very helpful and cheerful person. I reached here at 2:30 am got best food with proper room service couldn't get a better place to stay here in Rewalsar. All in all Best hotel near Rewalsar
