This is a must go place, try if you get second floor. Go for at-least 4nights. Dharamshala, Mcleodganj, Triund, if possible dal housie 1 day each. But i would say just follow yours if you go for itinerary you will miss the beauty of this place. Shubham bhai, The HOST!! He is a guy you need for all the best places out there. And if you are lucky you will get to know his crazy travel stories. Very Lovely HOST and an Honest man! Rent a bike, and roam around. Mcleod is beautiful and good to shop. Take pictures in St John church, trek to triund, take ropeway. Come to this place and you will love it. Don't get shy to ask Shubham bhai about the place, and he will help you with everything.

We as a couple booked this 2bhk comfortable home stay for rejuvenating and relaxing experience away from the hustle & bustle of Dharamshala or Macleodganj city. Right from our landing at Kangra airport, we were helped by the host Shubham for directions to this beautiful secluded property. In terms of the flat, this is on 2nd floor (just a few steps up) and has all the cozy feels of a home and it was kept clean and tidy by the host. There is a master bedroom with great views of the outside greenery along with balcony and the other room although small is comfortable with ample cupboard space for longer stays. The kitchen is spacious with basic items and you can opt for all kitchen items like induction/gas stove, pan etc for an extra price a day. For the ones who opting to stay here, the host Shubham (who is also a famous YouTube content creator) ensures that his guests are comfortably settling in. He is kind enough to even provide us with his bike for short ride to buy groceries but otherwise you can simply tell him for any items and he will willingly oblige to buy them for you as and when he goes out. I think this place would be loved by people who prefer peaceful secluded environment however people who even prefer city vibes would start to love this cosy property after staying for few days simply because of the flat and the environment around. For food options, it's good to have Zomato doing delivery and we even shopped through Myntra,Amazon and Flipkart who come all the way outside to deliver your parcels! The only slight negative is the red ant menace and small insects so we would have to put in all our food in fridge provided and keep the kitchen top clean. For insects to keep low lights and all windows and doors tightly shut after dawn. But this was not much of an issue for us as you need to keep in mind that you are in between the nature so! I think the longer you stay the more attached you feel to this place and wanting to stay more. As we did not have any bike or car, we noted the bus timings and that helped us go up to Dharamshala & Macleodganj and nearby places easily and also make our way down during late evenings. But if you have your own transport, it becomes very convenient to move around. The people are also very friendly and welcoming. Overall I'd definitely recommend this property to stay and already thinking of visiting back early next year!

Absolutely stunning! Our stay here was nothing short of magical. The ambiance is breathtaking, with every corner exuding beauty and tranquility. Our host, SJ, went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, making us feel right at home. The accommodations were cozy and inviting, providing the perfect retreat after a day of exploring the area. I stayed here for a week and absolutely loved the place. Shubham is really a nice host and also suggested me places to explore. I would recommend this any day. The stunning view of snow capped mountains from the balcony of main bedroom makes your stay complete. Best part for me was the fact that it is away from the hustle of the city and very peaceful.

Dhauladhar Homes It is in the name - A home with the beautiful view of Dhauladhar range. From the moment we reached here, we were completely mesmerised by the view and atmosphere around us. The snowy mountains, the greenery and what could be better than the rain welcoming us. Impeccable service, delicious home-cooked meals, and the peaceful surroundings made it the perfect getaway. You must try the omelette made by the host himself if you like eggs. The views were breathtaking, the hospitality unmatched, and the cozy atmosphere made it feel like a true home away from home. The rooms are neat and clean. You can rent out gas or induction if you want to cook something on your own within minimal price. Absolutely loved our stay at this homestay! A big thank you to the host and my childhood friend Mr. Shubham for an absolutely fantastic experience! Your genuine kindness, local insights, and delicious homemade meals made our stay unforgettable. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. Looking forward to returning soon!"

It seemed like a travel destination in itself. From the comfort of the bedroom with huge tri-directional glass door and windows, we were granted the view of the surrounding mountains, hills and valleys unmatched in Dharamshala. We felt very happy to be filled with the sights and sounds of nature all throughout our stay. Mr. Shubham Jha, the host, perfectly understands the necessary ingredients to raise the quality-of-life for travellers. As soon as we booked, we spoke to him over the phone and he proceeded to guide our taxi driver to the location. He was eager to help us in every way from the outset as we constantly took help from him regarding taxi bookings, travel and food destinations till the end of our stay. We wanted to get vegetables to cook our own food one night and he personally took us to shops which were admittedly a bit far off. We cannot express enough thanks to Mr. Subham Jha for this unique experience. The highlight, however, is the surrounding village. We immediately scouted the rocky, ephemeral stream we saw from our bedroom. During monsoon season, the water there is pleasant and the scenery is picturesque to the extreme. We also had a lot of fun walking around the village through the narrow paths in the midst of the woods and green farmlands. It is a beautiful walk and an opportunity for discovery. The people we found there are absolutely kind and full of generosity. However, permit me to point out a couple nitpicks I have about the place. The biggest one I have is about the lack of measure against insects. The sliding glass door has a big enough gap for all insects to fly in as soon as dusk sets in and we really did not have anything to do to help. As one might expect from such an area, there are insurmountable number of insects that come the room every evening till night. If you are prone to insect allergies then, this great room sadly might not be for you. The other nitpick does not have as much to do with the place as Dharamshala itself. The prices to travel to the cities (Dharamshala, Mcleodganj, Kangra) are very steep. But, if you travel in your vehicle, then the problem is alleviated completely. Once again, I have to state how wonderful of an experience it was just to stay in Dhauladhar Homes. I hope to go and stay there again when opportunity presents itself.

This is a small home stay about 20 mins away from Dharmshala Bus Stand. The place is charming with views of Dhauladhar Range, surrounded by farmland and stone pathways. One can enjoy the views and nirvana. This homestay is available for commoners with prior booking. When I checked into this, the immediate reaction is how sweet & beautiful place it is! This is a home stay run by a young V-logger, Shubham Jha #sjvlogsss, very hospitable, helpful. The stay was very very comfortable, rooms were neat, views were awesome and breakfast was fulfilling. There is sweet little kitchen incase you want to cook for your self. Nice getaway for weekend. Enjoy a lot of natural and calm living, near to Delhi.
