Dinesh was incredibly helpful and took care of all the arrangements, making our trip completely stress-free and enjoyable. Here's what he arranged for us: 1. Cab bookings: He organized transportation from Pathankot station to the stay and back seamlessly. 2. Scooty and Himalayan bike rentals: He arranged these for us at discounted rates, and the vehicles were in excellent condition, making our exploration smooth and enjoyable. 3. Groceries: On multiple occasions, we requested groceries, and he ensured they were delivered within 10 minutes. The sauna service was also an amazing experience - one of the best we've had! Everything we needed was taken care of, and we felt relaxed throughout our stay. I highly recommend visiting this place if you're looking for a peaceful and perfect getaway. A big thank you to Dinesh for making it such a wonderful experience!

This place is serene. Was first time visiting Dharmashala and found the best place. They have multiple property and each property caters diff segments and price. All the facilities like sauna bath, chimneys and heater they gave - even all the cooking stuff in the kitchen was the perfect. We cooked our meals there because I found veg food so costly in Dharamshala. Had to cook my own food. Staff was so polity and attentive. They have property in Manali and Hrishikesh. Definitely worth visiting. Thanks

We booked the sauna for a late evening after a cold rainy day. It was super nice to have a private sauna for ourselves. The Sauna gets hot enough with two heaters inside. You have a cold shower, a changing area and little outside area too. It's not new as many things in India and as it was criticized in one of the reviews before but really good enough, clean and peaceful for a nice sauna time. We were happy and would come again

I had come to attend Dharamshala Int Film Fest and wanted a peaceful, serene place. Mud house was just perfect. The space matched the description and photo. The kitchenette, the additional geyser in the kitchen, the hair dryer in the bath, a heater on demand everything was very thoughtful. The owner seemed to have thought through the comfort of the guest and that is rare! The balcony has excellent views. The book shelf had few nice books. The only feedback is- the quality of the tea bags could be better and the sugar, milk powder etc. could have been kept in better way. Dinesh, the caretaker is a warm and happy fellow. There is a cafe on the right (The other space) as soon as you climb up and hit the main road. The coffee, the food is excellent there. It has great views. Overall it was an excellent stay. Would love to recommend and go back soon!

A good studio apartment but the facilities could have been better. The rainy days made the roofs leak of the apartment which was an issue.. the apartment should also include proper cleaning on everyday basis. The owner was very friendly and nice. He even helped us to explore the places that we should visit with the kids. The experience was overall nice but was expensive according to the facilities provided.

This place is under new ownership post pandemic and is no longer good. We arrived late in the evening to use the sauna and steam room. The host was late to arrive, clearly this is not his priority occupation. The exterior cold plunge pool was full of construction and cleaning equipment including a mop. It was dry. The beautiful tropical plant was overgrown: we had to duck around it to enter the spa room. The spa room stone floor was covered in a considerable amount of dust and brown dirt - true to the "mud hut" name. The changing room area had a large bag of construction rubble concrete and was unusable. There was junk piled on all the stools and chairs. No place to sit. The sauna had a number of rotting planks turning black. It appears that the beams above were re-sealed to prevent moisture rot, but the sealant (probably toxic) was leaking and dripping out of the wood and onto the benches below. Also a considerable amount white cement dust seemed to cover the benches and colored our towels white. Sauna never really got hot after half an hour, but we left before as we were concerned what kind of mold/chemicals we might be exposed to.. Host did provide a splash of essential oils in the sauna water bucket but cautioned that we should over pour water as the sauna heater was weak. The steam room failed to turn on. Also covered in dust. The bathroom contained a number of ugly plastic buckets and other detritus. Also covered in dust. No towels provided. No water provided - we had to as our host to fetch us some. He returned with the cheapest variety bottle, also covered in dust. This establishment used to be owned by a Swedish couple who understood what a spa was meant to be. The new owner neither understands nor cares for the property. Avoid at all cost.

I had a nice time at the mud house. The good part is it's not just a room but you get the whole thing for yourself. So there's privacy. The sauna was therapeutic and was really needed when the temperature dipped at night. Highly recommend this.

Good studio apartment with kitchen and dining area included. Small cafes and shops are situated nearby to cater to all your daily needs. Small balcony with good view. Overall it was a comfortable stay. Will recommend to family and friends.
