Hotel Triund Heights

Our two-night stay at Hotel Triund Heights, Dharamshala, was a mix of potential and disappointments.||1. Room Heating: With the cold climate, we expected room heaters to be standard. The AC at 31degC wasn't sufficient to warm the room, and we later learned heaters were available at an extra cost. Including them in the package would enhance comfort.||2. Room Maintenance: The state of the room left much to be desired. One of the lights was loose and looked like it could fall anytime. Additionally, the switchboards and plug points were broken, which was a major inconvenience.||3. Food Quality: Breakfast was average, but dinner was disappointing. The Kashmiri Pulav and Vegetable Pulav were overly salty, and the roti and dal weren't good either, as mentioned by our driver. Sadly, I developed diarrhoea after the meal.||4. Hot Water Issues: Hot water was unavailable on the first night due to a power issue, and even the next morning, the hot water tap wasn't working. We had to heat water using a kettle. Later, we were informed the solar pipe had been damaged by monkeys, and they had kept hot water ready for us, but this wasn't communicated until it was too late.||The property has potential, but poor maintenance, lack of proactive communication, and some service gaps made our stay less comfortable than expected. A focus on improving these aspects would make it a more pleasant experience for guests.

Had a wonderful stay at Hotel Triund Heights! Spacious rooms with stunning mountain views, great food, and warm hospitality. Perfect location for exploring Bhagsu Nag. Highly recommended!

Heating and Room Conditions: Room heaters were not part of the package, and the AC at 31degC wasn't sufficient for the cold climate. Additionally, the room condition was disappointing: one of the lights was loose and seemed ready to fall, and the switchboards and plug points were broken. Food Quality: Breakfast was average, but the dinner was below par. Overly salty rice dishes like Kashmiri Pulav and Vegetable Pulav, along with unsatisfactory roti and dal, left us disappointed. I even fell ill afterward. Hot Water Issues: Hot water was unavailable the first night, and communication about the issue was unclear. We had to resort to heating water with a kettle. Unacceptable behavior and dirty rooms. The staff and owner were rude and unhelpful, and the rooms were not clean. We found hair in the bed and asked to change rooms, but they refused. After waiting for two hours, they finally changed our room."

Hotel's room is not well. Staff is good and Mr. Saurabh is very helpful and co-operative.

Nice and decent hotel loaction of hotel is nice which gives excellent view of mountains food quality is good staff is cooperative enjoyed our stay we stayed for 2 nights though it was rainy season we enjoyed rainy weather from balcony with a cup of tea n fritters love to visit again
