Blossoms Village Resort

We stay at Blossoms almost every year with our family, while we love the location and the views here but the services and the rooms can be better we feel. The hospitality business has improved a lot in the last 5 years but Blossoms still has the same old room with no update ,the same medimix soap in their bathrooms, water takes half an hour to get hot and mind you the weather gets quite cold post November. Their terrace restaurant is beautiful with decent food which also has scope of improvement. All in all , a lovely resort which can get amazing if improved!

Unparalleled views, great location, good food, friendly and very helpful staff especially Kamlesh who did everything in his capacity to make sure we have a comfortable stay and the servers but left highly disappointed with the rundown cottage rooms. ||We had our room changed but that didn't change anything about the not getting hot water for showers on any of the 5 days we stayed at the property. There was leakage from the toilet which wasn't fixed. For the amount of money being charged per night, the toiletries were very basic. ||The bed sheets seemed like they hadn't been washed at all with a very prominent mold smell. ||I paid the whole amount and handsomely tipped the staff but I am not happy with the condition of the room and based on the charges warranted for a way better experience. I would like to get a good portion of my payment credited back.

We had light dinner here. Food was really good and ambience is awesome. View from roof top restaurant is enchanting. We visited the place during rainy season. Due to clouds mountains were not visible yet moving clouds in sky made experience quite pleasing

This resort is undergoing changes and is being managed by a new party "Both the workers and the management". This change management has damaged resort's reputation. Today, we went there to have some quality time together. Very simple lunch ordered: chicken noodles, malai chicken tikka, and two mix lemon soda's. It took the staff forty to forty-five minutes to deliver the chicken noodles, and that was without any additional sauces or ketchup. The malai chicken tikka was similarly subpar. We asked these people for mint chutney and ketchup a few occasions, but each time we asked, the lady said that her coworker has gone to bring it from their store. The ketch up and mint chutney was never provided. I won't recommend anyone to visit there as their service has degraded due to change management. Please note that I am a localite and this a genuine feedback.

Stopped here for a quick lunch. However the views from Cliff Rooftop restaurant is so mesmerizing that we ended up spending hours absorbing nature's beauty. Must try on a not so sunny day.

Blossoms village resort is a beautiful property nestled in the lanes of Sidhpur and boasts the best views from the rooms and its rooftop cafe. The place is very tastefully decorated and you'll find Instagram worthy corners everywhere you see.||The food is the best Indian food I tried in Dharamshala and they are very open to accommodate requests. ||Sitting on the roof and enjoying dinner with a bonfire was a core memory for my family and we would keep coming back||Highly recommend the place to anyone visiting Dharamshala

This hotel is in need of a renovation. But having said that there are a lot of positives going for it. It has a great location, close to the wonderful Norbulinka Institute, with easy access to Dharamshala and Mcleodgunj. Yet it is removed from the bustle of the town, and is hence very quiet and peaceful. It overlooks great view of the snow-clad mountain and is surrounded by greenery. It has two wings and old one and a new. The newer wing seemed to have the larger rooms with better views. We were allocated a room in the older wing but requested (and got) a room in the newer wing that was larger and had better views. The rooms are comfortable though like I said earlier, some of them do need a renovation. But what really won us over was that the team was eager and willing to go out of the way. The restaurant staff were particularly friendly and efficient and I must mention Vijay who ensured that were served quickly and adequately. However there are also a number of very good eating options nearby, so if you want to eat out, it is easy to do.||Another wonderful feature of this hotel is that it houses a pottery studio and store where one can not just buy wonderful designs but also experience the making of pottery.||One small negative that must be mentioned is that it inevitably took a long time (almost 10 mins) before the cold water in the taps turned hot. This is something the management must take care of because it inevitably led to a lot of unnecessary water wastage, since we could hardly do without hot water in December.||Overall we had a great stay and would love to be back.

I love the property and have been quite regular to the restaurant and the views from Terrace is beautiful . Took my family today for a lunch and they told us they don't serve Indian food on the terrace but I told them just five days ago I came to the restaurant and they served Indian food . If they don't serve Indian food in the terrace then the menu shouldn't be there in the first place . The waiter said there is no way the restaurant served Indian food on the terrace and I had to show a picture from 5 days ago . Anyways , pathetic attitude and overall had a bad experience, left after having few lime soda and lassi. The terrace restaurant was empty and there was not a single soul apart from our family but they chose to act busy and not serve us . Used to love the place but not coming back for sure .
