Thank you team Prakriti Alay for gifting us ( family of 13) a dream vacation. Home away from home ! Everything from the location, to food, welcome, comfort, connect with nature, was the best ! |We travel a lot and stayed in a lot of fancy places but this earthly eco hotel is one of the best we have stayed in. ||Location mind-blowing ! |Food superb and served with love !|Rooms warm and comfortable |We were the only guests at the time which added to everything. |Camp fire done religious every evening was so welcoming. |The contant gurgle of the stream so soothing|Breakfast on the terrace was wonderful experience ||(Approach for some people in our group was a discomfort but it was forgotten the minute they saw the snowy peaks ) ||Can not praise you enough. Mr Cook is a gem and ready to share his recipes, so is Praveen. ||Just hoping the place will remain as it is and maybe God willing we will visit again. ||Thanks !!!! ||( Do post link for trip advisor for posting reviews)

We found the staff going out of their way to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The HR practices initiated by the promoters MsAmeeta and Mr Thakur were quite commendable with birthdays of staff members being celebrated together. The resort is very quiet and located away from the noise of the town. They took care of every guest as if we were family. Although our stay was marred by incidents on the border, yet we never felt the necessity of moving out of the safety and comfort of the place. The only things lacking were the TV set and newspapers, but they were not missed in the serenity of the place.

It is very beautiful location amidst nature,very calm and peaceful.The only problem is with the food. We ordered biryani which was very very less in quantity,might not even suffice a single person. No raita or gravy was given along with it,we had to order it separately. Rest it was a beautiful location away from the hustle bustle of the city.

The positives :|Great View of the stream flowing next to the cottages and the snow capped mountains in the distance from the superior rooms.||The garden is full of flowers with a lot of fruit trees too.||The sit outs and swings are enjoyable and a nice place to spend with family and friends.||Food quality was reasonably good.||The Chef Sunny was brilliant in his work||The negatives :||Rooms though comfortable are rustic||The access to the road in the absence of the elevator (as was the case during our 2 day visit) is a steep mountainside descent and climb which is not suitable for those with infants and those who are not fit.||The accomodation and food are overpriced.

Beautiful place,you can explore the river,forest and mountains at the same time, Delicious food at reasonable rates. Well managed by the staff and owners Highly recommended,better than any five star branded stuff

We stayed at Prakriti Aalay as a group of families for a function. The stay for two nights was very comfortable and relaxing. The perpetual rivulet flowing along is the USP of this place. The burble captures one's attention every time you step out of your cottage. There is a small water body flowing inside the resort, making it more appealing. The dense vegetation in and around Prakriti Aalay give a feeling of 'being in the lap of nature'.|We stayed in Pir-Panjal'- the name of our cottage. Spacious rooms, nice toilets, 24x7 running hot and cold water, excellent and quick room service, fan, AC and traditional interiors.|Nice food- both Himachali and contemporary cusine. Prompt service in the dining area by well behaved and pleasant staff.|Last but not the least, the hosts- Amita and Kishore!!! You have nurtured this place with all your hard work and passion. Your hospitality was mesmerizing!!! |Hope to see you again.

After the bustle of McLeodganj and Dharamshala this isolated retreat was an absolute delight. Nestled in a valley beneath soaring snow capped mountains on the banks of a glacial stream it is built in a sustainable vernacular style with thick adobe walls and local timbers. We awoke each morning to the serenade of the stream and the gentle chirping of the birds in the clove tree outside our window. The food was fantastic, especially the Mutton Rara and the staff were friendly but unobtrusive. We spent four relaxing days there and never left the property.

Beautiful, family friendly and a very calming place to unwind and relax. It was just what we needed. My six year old son just wanted to stay in the resort, go in the woods behind the property and enjoy the lovely river and food there! The amazing location with beautiful plantation and spacious rooms add to the charm. While my mother in law found it difficult to reach the rooms, she was very sporty and could do it with just a little help. Anyone traveling with senior citizens should be aware of this. The staff was extremely helpful and polite and helped us with everything. Hopefully we will visit again!
