The Acanti, Dharamshala

Amazing place with a great host. Udai made it so memorable and easy for us with sightseeing and would check on us whether we were comfortable and getting to the places without any problem. The food was amazing and a friendly staff with beautiful dogs. It's a must visit place and will definitely be back again. It's a property.

The Acanti exceeded my expectations in many ways. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, especially host of the hotel was very kind hearted. The room was spotlessly clean and well-maintained, with comfortable bedding and a modern design. I especially appreciated the balcony design. The food was delicious . I would highly recommend this hotel for its exceptional service and beautiful location."

Was looking for a serene and calm leisure experience , both close and far the hustle bustle of Mcleodgunj.. and here we are at this beautiful boutique offering .. The Acanti .. This property is right in the woods and our host Uday personally made sure that we have a fulfilling experience Whether it's morning tea and breakfast in the forest ,or curating an evening on a terrace , he made sure that we have another big carry bag with happy memories to take back . We were just minutes distance from areas like Mcleodganj , Dharamkot which was a bonus The food was amazing and the chef made sure that every meal shall bloat our stomach of overeating. A big shout out for Uday our host.. Acanti and Uday made it appear as it is a homecoming. The Acanti .. we will meet again soon

The Acanti is a hidden gem in Dharamshala. It became my home, the moment I met the host and was welcomed by the cutest dog, Oreo. Udai is the most empathetic and hospitable owner of this beautiful property. Strongly recommend that you go and experience it's magic. I can't wait to be back there already

Beautiful property and amazing views! What a great way to disconnect and enjoy the peace and calm. The staff and the host, Udai, are incredibly welcoming and make you feel at home :) Best part of the property is that it's pet friendly and there are three dogs that live on the property so you can enjoy all the dog cuddles and your puppy will also have company!

I visited The Acanti, McLeodganj ( Dharamshala) for 4 nights and 5 days and the stay was wonderful. It is a cozy boutique stay nestled amidst beautiful deodar and pine tree forest which makes for a spectacular view and cool, peaceful atmosphere, as the name suggests. You can see the beautiful sunset and moon rise from the property and the room that I stayed in had beautiful views of the forest and valley. The room is quite spacious, comfortable along with a squeaky-clean attached washroom. My favourite part apart from the room is the dining and the outside sitting area, where you actually get the vibe of whole forest . The gorgeous sitting of the cozy shed offers a breathtaking view of the trees, Himalayas, and the valley. The food was exceptional and super fresh. They have an extensive menu, and everything I ate was lip-smacking. Even though I am a picky eater, the host Udai is super friendly and take care of all requests and more. They helped me with the itinerary and places to visit around the property. McLeodganj & Dharamkot are a few minutes from the property and a must visit. Some of the best mountain cafes can be explored with all the food options from Italian, Israeli to even vegan options.The Triund trek starts from the gallu temple and the best place for nature and trekking lover. They also arrange barbecues, picnics and high-tea on request. It's a must stay for people who love nature and serenity and yet like to explore some modern mountain life.

Amazing stay. Loved my stay at Acanti. Uday is a great host who always takes care of your needs while you're at the property. Stayed there for 5 nights and went to all the best sunrise and sunset stops in Dharamshala. All thanks to Udai and his staff who tagged along to show me the ways. And the best part of the stay is his 3 dogs - Oreo, Jispa & Shoolin. Even if you're a solo traveler like me, this property is safe for you to stay. And if love dogs, quiet stay with comfort and good food, then book this stay without thinking.

Great property... nice clean rooms... delicious food. Location amidst a pine forest is the USP... far from the touristy crowds and traffic but within minutes from both Dharamshala and Mcleodganj... awesome laidback stay.
