I booked this hotel thru Booking.com long in advance. for 3 nights. I chose it because it seemed to be well located for scenery and proximity to different towns as all roads finally go from the Dharampur town and Kasauli chowk is an important junction. Finding the place is impossible on your own so do connect with the hotel before you reach there. They will also connect with you.||They gave a bigger room and all so no complaints but it was obvious that they were not having the room I had booked. Anyway they gave me a better accommodation. The accommodation is very local, village type of construction and the owner lives there and the kitchen works from his apartment. ||There is no organisation or organised system. Everything has to be asked for but they are very family friendly types so you do not feel there is any problem.||On the second day day they wanted to shift us to another property. So we decided to end our trip after the second day.||I felt cheated on 2 grounds.||I received a mail from Booking.com that I have been shown as a no show. I have a receipt from the hotel that I stayed there for 2 nights. They charged me taxes for 3 nights.||Water that was placed in the rooms was charged for. There were no toiletries given as a regular item.||It was a very basic stay with no creature comforts.||The area is really not safe for old people and children||This property is suitable for young people and groups looking for a place to indulge in alcohol binges and revelry in a quiet place.

We planned a quick trip to the hills and chose Kasauli to avoid the summer rush. Most of the good resorts in our price range were already booked so we booked this place on Booking.com as it was cheap and had decent reviews. However, it was not a pleasant experience.||1.This is not a resort or even a hotel. Its a bed and breakfast. They have 2 bed-2bath apartments (with a living room).||2. We booked 2 rooms online but they offered us an apartment at a higher rate. We accepted it gladly. ||Pros: It was a decent apartment that was clean and spacious. It is situated in a quiet area away from the hustle and bustle. The food cooked by the owner was tasty and home-like. The food prices are reasonable. They have (limited) parking.||||Cons: There is nothing near this place. No restaurant, no cafe, its a narrow isolated road in the wilderness and it gets lonely after dark. There was only 1 person to take care of guests for all the (6-8) apartments. Som claimed to be the owner/cook/cleaner/manager/receptionist/concierge and everything else. Although, we were somewhat understanding in the beginning, it soon got ugly. He made us wait for nearly 2 hours one day for breakfast. When we politely stated that he was very late, he became rude and argumentative. This upset us so much that we were afraid to order food again. Thankfully, this place is very close to a fantastic resort- Baikunth. Their restaurant was kind enough to allow us to come for dinner. That dinner was the only nice time we had in our trip. We were so upset by the horrible service that we decided to curtail our trip. We had to pay half the amount even for the next day that we had booked but we preferred to pay that money and get out of there instead of wasting our time. We even skipped their free breakfast (we did have tea though) to get out of there as soon as possible.||While the place isn't bad, I would NOT recommend it, especially for families. I suggest that tourists should pay a little more money and stay at any other place with better service and more things to do.||Moreover, the fact that I got an email from Booking.com afterwards that I didn't stay at all there shows that the management is not honest. They show pics of a different place, charge you a price that is higher than that shown on the website, offer you terrible service, don't hesitate in arguing and being rude, and even hide things from the booking portal. Don't get lured by their cheap prices. It's a trap.
Late Post. I had visited this place in July. At the outset let me tell you that the caretaker Deshraj and his assistant/cook left no stones unturned to make our stay comfortable, and for which I really appreciate their gesture. However, it would really be grateful if Mr. Amit could take care of the maintenance of the house itself. The walls were severely damp and bathrooms were not clean at the time of check-in and were quite awful with bad smell. The road that leads to the property is highly risky and needs maintenance from scratch. Apart from these, the view from the balcony is really breathtaking and so during the time of the sunset. I hope they will build the road and take care of the rooms. Good for weekend get-away.
We had a booking with them through booking.com with a free cancellation until 6 pm on the day of arrival policy. The day we had to check in(planned check in around 3 pm), I recieved a call in morning, around 10, from pine villa asking for advance. When I told them that I will stick to the booking condition, which was 'no prepayment' the person on the other end told me that pine villa has more enquiries and we will sell your room to someone else( in a very rude manner). I contacted booking.com, they asked us to go to hotel and that if the hotel didn't give us a room, we will get another one from Booking.com. I, anyway, didn't expect them to be so un-professional and I reached the hotel. There was nobody at the office, when I called them, they said that we have given your room to someone else as you didn't pay the advance. We were a family of 8 people with a lot of luggage, anyway, we contacted booking.com again, they asked us to ask hotel to inform booking.com about cancellation. We went to their office to request them for confirming booking.com about cancelling our booking. Then it was a completely different story, the way the guys, who manage property, behaved was so ill. Honestly, I was afraid, I didn't find them civil enough. We were on the roads for next 2 hours, figuring out a solution while booking.com was asking for more and more time to fix the issue. We booked another hotel and checked in. Long story cut short, if you want a confirm booking and nice( just civil enough) host, book somewhere else! It's also not in a good location!
Awesome Property. Amazing View. Super Host. come back soon.Home Stay in Kasauli is located mid way to Kasauli, Lawrence School road, Sukhi Jorhi Chowk, 200 Meters Pine Forest Drive from the chowk.||It is a quite place with only sound of the chirping birds around. Its is an idle place to rejuvenate for the busy metro city life. It is like a heaven for young couples and Family. Enjoy the walk in the clouds, inhale the mist around you and get lost in the mystical surroundings of timeless natural beauty in Cozy Homely Stay .
It is so strange that a appartment you book and at night the care taker insists to stay in the appartment given to guests by saying dont lock the appartment main door as he will be sleeping in the same place is it a joke... if anyone comfortable with that then go ahead and book. The whole experience of visiting Kasauli got spoiled by this episode at pine villa
It was a good stay in pine villa between the calm and quite nature. The property needs much more improvement in quality of food and service and facilities
