The Pine Retreat - Mall Road Dalhousie

Our stay here was wonderful. The property is beautiful, and the staff made sure we were comfortable. Highly recommend it for families. Great value for money. The hotel is clean, the beds are comfortable, and the food is delicious. We will definitely visit again.

The hotel is very calm and quiet. Perfect for families or couples. The service was excellent, and the food was freshly made. Clean rooms, friendly staff, and great food. The view from the hotel is breathtaking. Totally worth it for the price.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at [Hotel Name], and I must say, it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. From the moment I arrived, the staff greeted me with warmth and professionalism, making me feel right at home. The room was spacious, spotless, and beautifully appointed, with comfortable bedding, modern amenities, and a stunning view of the city. I was particularly impressed by the attention to detail--the room had everything I needed, from high-speed Wi-Fi to a fully stocked minibar. The hotel's facilities were equally impressive. THIS IS A SHADY PLACE, not a real hotel ! We booked 'luxury room' and the room was slightly bigger than an avg bathroom ! In fact the other hotel I booked after leaving this place had a bathroom larger than pine retreat's room. Please note - There is no sign board for the hotel. It was quite difficult to find . On calling the google number , some lady picked up and instead of helping with directions, gave another person's number . That person , on calling gave another person's number again. On reaching there, a staff member /boy came but instead of taking us to reception , he said he will take us directly to room which involved climbing stairs . The so called luxury room is not actually a room, but part of a duplex flat which living room below it . The bathroom has an extra door which opens to the stairs. Don't know why . Balcony is not private . And is connected to their kitchen on the backside . There is no telecom. The boy asked us to call him on his mobile if we need anything . Why should we be sharing our mobile number with him? They did not even provide bottled water. Just a random bottle like we use in our homes . Worst part - when we came down from the room, we saw another room like thing with black glasses and coincidently ended up seeing a few guys sitting there who were part of the hotel staff I am assuming . This made us feel absolutely unsafe . Within 40 mins of reaching there after a long travel, we decided to leave the hotel and checked in to a different one . When we told the staff that we would like to check out, his face expression was extremely normal as if he has seen many people leave the hotel like that. No surprise that the two day stay was not refunded. I am not going into detail but ending the review by saying that their towels had literal dead insects and blood stains ! I don't think this is actually a hotel . Looks like some shady business . Totally unsafe . Dalhousie has many better hotels .

Ruin your trip by booking the Pine Retreat Dalhousie with dirty towels, stained bedsheets, smelly rooms (like a gutter), shared balcony (with staff), a bathroom that has a door in the hallway as well, an arrogant owner and a rude booking staff. Imagine a poorly managed hotel, where the staff can come into your balcony at any time, your bathroom has 2 doors, one of which is in the lobby/hallway. I had booked for 3 days but left the hotel after the first night and booked another one in Dalhousie. The owner & booking staff are so arrogant to comprehend anything, they can't accept that the guest is facing a problem. The hotel staff is polite on your face but not at all helpful, and feeds stories to the owner and booking staff over the phone and worst of all the booking staff (Dipali) doesn't know how to talk to guests, a rude woman in denial who speaks broken english and keeps repeating the same line like a tape-recorder. Dipali thinks she manages the best hotel in the world that CANNOT have a single problem. Stay far away from this property.

It's was an amazing experience staying at the pine retreat, Dalhousie. Hospitality was great especially the owner of the cottage Mr. Abhinav took care personally and all the other staff members also took care. The cottage room, lobby was neat & clean.

The stay was made very comfortable by the staff's hospitality and polite attitude. Food was delicious although the location would not offer the view of the hills, but if you choose to take a walk around sunset, its pleasant. The owner Abhinav, is helpful and proactive. Positive experience mostly due to the kind staff.

One of the worst property. It is actually a guest house and they are claiming as Luxury hotel. Even there is no proper Reception. Room are very small then mentioned.
