Hotel Champak Chamba

I stayed there with family. They charged me with Rs 2380 but there was no AC, no water from mid night to till next day. They gave us one bucket water to use. When it comes to food, they have big items in Food menu but when i asked for bread butter they said they only serve TEA. Phone extension was not working. Each time whenever i required anything i went downstairs personally. They didn't even bothered about car parking. Though I am the regular customer of hotel Iravati run by same HPTDC still they didn't consider anything. Mr. Sunil (Sr. Manager) came to meet me but again they didn't give me any solution. I felt like cheated. I was about to file compliant. If you don't serve the items you have mentioned then you can't mention the same in your menu and you should tell the same to the guest before they pay the money.

My stay at the hotel was comfortable and relaxing. Though the location in not on the main road yet better off in silent and calm place. I found staff very polite, helping and generous. Rooms were clean n tidy.

Average hotel, good hospitality. Not too many options for food. Jeera rice & dal was good. Nearest Landmark - DC office. Took the family suite for under 1800/-. Heater and thick blankets provided during winters.

Well the rooms are good. I deducted 2 stars because though the rooms are good they have seepage. Die to which there's a smell in rooms. Other than that. It's great.

This property is situated a little away from its main counterpart 'Geetanjali' about 5 minutes uphill trek, but being in a secluded spot overlooking the chowgan, it offers beautiful view of the Chamba township and the rooms are newly laid out and well furnished and airy.

It's a good hotel with good facilities. It also has a facility to cook for the customers. And the rooms were hygiene and there are attached bathrooms over there. And finally resonable rooms for it's price.

HPTDC property, so naturally expectations must be set beforehand, but nearer to market & taxi stand makes the life little easy. Service delivery was Good.

Really nice place to stay for the night.... Good staff... No food available tough....but still an epic nighout place
