River N Shines Homestay and Restaurant

If someone is looking to stay in a real offbeat but accessible place this is the place to stay. The view from of the Chamera lake/dam from the homestay and the CHAKLOO village in general is fantastic. There isn't another place to stay or eat in the village, that is how non touristy the village is. The accommodation itself is very basic compared to city standards but the rooms and the bathrooms are clean and spacious. The service could be patchy as we found out on our arrival during lunch time. But i will give the benefit of the doubt to them as it was off season and no staff was available. Though they more than made it up for it during the dinner and evening pakora and coffee session. SHUBHAM kept apologising for the lack of staff. But he tried his best to make us comfortable. But the stay was worth it just for the view from the terrace and the walk around the lovely untouched non touristy village. Overall good value for money stay. THANKS SHUBHAM. Amazing property with warm hospitality. Peaceful place with extraordinary service. Rooms are very sober and specious. Location is amazing wuth the view of Raavi river. You wilk get everything like parking, room service, cleanliness, hygienic atmosphere and confortable stay. Must visit. Highly recommended

One of the hidden gems of Himachal. In a small village just a bit outside chamba worth the extra drive and the views are amazing. The owner is welcoming and this place won't disappoint you.

Overall, I had a great experience . Staff was incredibly helpful, and the amenities were great.The atmosphere and service were great. Definitely a must do if you are looking for a good time
