Ellays Dream Resort

It was the most terrible experience staying in this horribly bad resort. Extremely dirty bathrooms, no toilet paper, service utterly bad, reaching this place is hell. On top of that, it is more expensive than a five star property. ||||We booked a different resort (4 rooms, 9 people) but the guy there called and said that their resort was fully booked and gave us booking at Ellays Dream Resort for the same pricing, mentioning great property and same prices. We booked the same day and we reached the property at around 10 PM. ||||The ride to the resort is through an extremely narrow and steep road (utterly dangerous). ||||Once we were inside resort, the guy asks for money upfront (we had already paid 5K online). We were roaming for last 8 days and noone asked to pay in advance and nobody does wherever you go. ||||When we told about dirty bathrooms to the guy, we were told that nothing can be done. I am posting a few pictures of the bathrooms for everyone to see.||||The rooms, bed sheets, towels were smelly. In the morning, we were told that the tea cannot be served till 10 am. It is buried in the jungle, no view of anything.||||Our experience has been a nightmare staying at this property. We went to Spiti and stayed there for one night. All the trip was amazing but this resort ruined it.||||So much so, we did not even take a bath there and left as early as possible in the morning.||||Will not recommend this resort to anyone.

Without doubt one of the favorite hotels I stayed Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by the staff and general manager.The staff was extremely friendly. and the restaurant supervisor deserves a special thanks.Rooms are spacoius with big balconies excellent view of beautiful valleys surrounded by pine trees||The first day in the evening we did a village walk. Truly enjoyed walking through the village. The scenery was beautiful and it was a relieve to walk in such a quiet and peaceful environment. The atmosphere is so special that it really felt like home to me. All respect for the owner Mr. Lalit who does a great job here; a true sample of excellent hospitality!

This is a perfect retreat at this beautiful place in Barog. The rooms are super comfy, the staff is very hospitable and the view is spectacular. The silence in this serene abode is just mesmerising. Plus this just fits fine in your budget which doesn't hurt at all. The perfect place to stay.

Hotel was excellent with their excellent service. Food was aswsome. Room and washrooms are really neat and clean. They have enough lobby space in front of rooms , where kids and adults can enjoy. Thanks to manager who arranged Bone fire for our group with Music system.

Decent stay for families. Situated at a good height in Barog. The resort is equipped with all facilities and is perfect keeping in view the vicinity to the market and the aloofness it provides from the usual.hisyle bustle. It is situated amidst a forest area sorounded by pine trees. The food is also good and the menu offers a good variety. My only advice: the place can do much better with more focus on cleanliness. We had booked 2 rooms and the kitchen sink was clogged with leftover veggies from previous guests.

The experience of the stay was wonderful. It's location is really good. The view from the room priceless. The staff was very courteous & friendly. Enjoyed the experience. Food was very good. Overall a great place to stay and enjoy with friends or family.

The resort was located in very beautiful place, the room's are also very neat and comfortable. Thankful to the owner Mr.Rohit for making us so comfortable in a new place, Great thanks to Mr.Honey bhaiya too who helped us alot. Can visit and stay with your family or friends as the staff members will definitely greet you with great hearts.. most memorable trip of life.

Located amidst lush green mountains this is one of the best hotel/resort in Barog. Big seating area facing the valley. You will find yourself in clouds once in a while. Perfect getaway with a topping of good food and humble staff. Cant wait to be back again.
