Summer House

First of all its located in the Jibhi the uncovered gem of Himachal Pradesh. Lush green environment with enormous fresh water streams with large and small waterfalls to cherish. The high canopy of deodar and pine is breathtakingly beautiful. Summer House or The Nature's Lap is a small hotel which is located on a hill top and if you are visiting them which you must do for a nice experience. You have to climb your way up and down from the road all the way upto hotel. As the scenic beauty is worth doing so as its kind of trek for you. Still elderly people if not well can't make it easily up to such a hight. Once you will reach the hotel floor. You will be amazed to see apple and pear orchards there. The rooms are made like cottages which have large windows which exhibits panoramic view of beautiful Jibhi Valley. Management: Hotel management is very supportive and friendly and deserve praise. Cons: Food : Food is just ok I won't give them even 3 star for food as quality and prompt response was not their virtue. Staff is slow and careless. And lack motivation when it comes to restaurant things and room service. Room Service: Room service also sucks as the cleanliness and room service on telephone is not available. Rooms: Rooms are capable of delivering a satisfying experience but still curtains and doors are not well and damaged. Hot water facility is lagging behind. Fans hardly works. And electricity points are not located at preferred location. Also, locks are damaged so your things are not well protected and hangs on the mercy of hotel staff. This can be managed. Even if the cons are there on the part of micromanagement still this place is a crown and worth visiting. As I told manager is so supportive so you will not experience anything annoying. I suggest everyone to atleast go once there and experience the raw nature. Beware of leopards at night and do not roam alone as its mountain area and clouded leopard may appear sometimes. For every complain you can discuss with management and they will solve it for you. Happy staying.

If you are looking for a offbeat location jibhi is the place for you. The rood to reach here is difficult but once you are there you will enjoy the peace and quiet of the mountains. Nature's lap is on top of a hill and has good view. The people are very helpful. Try to negotiate for the food rates as we got a good deal of 100 per plate

You have to climb steep mountain to reach the property which has big and small rocks and no proper way to walk. I found blood stained tissue roll in washroom. Stinking used glass on the window. Fungus behind the bed head panel. Curtains had stains and dust. Geyser don't work because of low voltage. They cooked chicken which was not chewable. Basically not at all pleasant experience and it sucks even more if you reach half dead after a long drive from Delhi. Not relaxing at all.

Great place to stay with everything at a walking distance be it market/ Waterfall/Mini Thailand. 30 mins drive to Jalori Pass. Located at a great height in a forest this place actually justifies its name and offers connectivity also if you want to work from mountains. Staff is really generous and you feel all at home.

My stay at Nature's Valley Resort was par excellent. The location of the resort is such that you get to see the most serene views of Jibhi Valley. The calming atmosphere that the surroundings provide makes your stay even more fruitful. The rooms were very cosy and the overall amenities were really good. The owner of the property, Satpal bhaiji is one of the sweetest person you will ever come across. Satpal Bhaiji would address our issues with no sweat. Truly, one of my best stays!

Offbeat and great location. Easily accessible from Jibhi main market, Mini Thailand and Jalori Pass. But the rooms and property is not maintained, geysers were not working and food quality is not good. Not recommended for elderly people as the property is up on the hill.

This property is one of the best in jibhi . Specially the ambience and location ,we can from the top of the hotel through our the valley .... Feeling like we are staying in clouds ,the flora and fauna makes us amazed . Cricket ground at the top of resort is worth for kids and adult . I recommend to stay minimum 3 days to explore the nature around jibhi.

Loved the stay here. Amazing stay. Couple of things to note here: food is as homely as it gets. Parathas for breakfast is All what you need to start the day. All the coziness for what we always expect from a home stay . As for its location: wonderful place to trek down to mini Thailand, Jibhi waterfall, Jalori pass.
