The Utsav Grand banquets and resort (pure veg.)

The establishment in itself is beautiful, but the service is catastrophic. Firstly when we arrived, late in the evening and very tired, we were welcomed in a very unpleasant way and had to answer questions like we were in a police station. Communication with the staff was extremely difficult, and when we asked something (either in english or hindi/haryanvi) it was either not done, or poorly. Our room was not cleaned once during our four days stays, and water bottles and soaps/shampoos were provided only once, at the beginning, and never again. We were forced to go out and buy ourselves what we needed, which is not what you would expect by any hotel. Cleanliness did not seem a priority, in the rooms or in the common areas : we spotted a cigarette butt (!!!) on the stairs which was not cleaned during our whole stay. We had breakfast in the room, and : 1) our order arrived 30+ minutes later to the hour we requested it to be served 2) the order was not correct 3) nobody came to clean the plates after we were finished, even if asked multiple times. Once, when we came back in the evening, the breakfast remains were still on the table, so we were forced to leave them in the common areas. The rooms also appear to be fancy and luxurious at first glance, but looking closely you realize plenty of things are poorly done or clearly unfinished. Wooden shreds were loose on the floor, which made it dangerous to walk barefeet. Also the drain on the shower didn't work properly, which resulted in a flooded bathroom everytime we'd take a shower.

The rooms are cozy and so is the washroom. But the entire hotel, room, washroom, linen, towels are amazingly clean. There is tea coffee machine in the room and the hotel replenishes it for additional requirements. Unfortunately, the restaurant is being renovated so all food is outsourced including the complimentary breakfast. That's the reason I rated them 4 overall. I had interacted with Ankur from front office who is very helpful. Rahul from Housekeeping is a star. The location is around 20 mins walk to Dasashwamedh ghat and 1.6 kms to Kashi Vishwanath temple. Multiple mode of transportation is available just outside the gate.

Dnt waste money ....I didn't check the Google reviews.... it was so pathetic ... check all the photos.. . Very, very bad service... It's not neat nd clean room....very dirty bedsheets....no iron...very bad smell....insect...it was a very bad experience...

Please dont hire room at grand utsav. There is water problem in rooms. And service is not good. Beds are not full size you cant sleep 2 person on double bed.

Recently 10 June 2022, I stayed in this hotel on my marriage in room number 217. The Hotel from outside looks very good and also Manager tell this is the best hotel in sonipat but actual situation is totally opposite. Room is not clean when we checked in , rats are jumping on room corners and cupboards. We have no other option to book other hotel in short notice so thoughts to manage but in Summer 45' temp there AC was not working. Only single water bottle provided in the room. We ordered additional water bottles from restaurant but after 10- 15 follow up they delivered normal Walter bottles after 3 hours. There is no taste in food and delivered cold food to us. This is pathetic experience for us. I never recommend this type of 3 star hotel in sonipat who provide negative 5 star service to their guest. No single service was proper. As per my understanding these people think make building and mark 3 star hotel. They don't know what is hospitality, how to treat their guest. How to provide service in Hotels. This is worst ever experience during my hotel stay. Please think lacs of times before stay in this hotel.

It's not a hotel but a sham. Stayed for 2 days on the property. Will share the harrowing experience. We stayed there for a wedding . So the host booked 14 rooms for the guests. The rooms were not clean. There were dust everywhere. The sheets were also not clean. There was no slippers and on request they provided used slippers for guest per room. The water in the room was not even bisleri considering the room rent , they should have provided that. Plumbing issue in major rooms because of that hot water supply was inadequate . The staff was not trained and local jhuggi boys was doing the room service in shabby clothes and informed that the plumbing issue is a regular problem. On complaint to reception , only hollow assurances were given to rectify the problem but to no avail . The breakfast time is 7 to 10am . The food was pathetic and considerable delay was there while serving. The staff did it intentionally so that the time of 10am. Can be passed and they stopped serving. Even a heated arguments ensued between the host and the hotel staff but they were adamant and not served the food. Strictly removed the plate at 10 am..The reception manager is a extremely fat lady and did not let anyone speaks. And refused to serve the food after the stipulated time..Never seen such urgency and punctuality anywhere (pun intended ). Anyhow the host made a mistake of paying the hotel in advance. My suggestion is better to avoid this hotel. It looks grand and promising but do not serve well. Thanks.

Rooms are good but you have to frequently request the staff for needs they're slow,forgetful but decent. Overall cleanliness needs improvement & also prompt service.
