OYO 24594 Wind Cross

We only stayed one night on our way from Shimla to Delhi. We walked from the railway station and found the directions given were spot on. |The room was clean and comfortable. We ordered dinner which was delivered fresh and hot. The owner even went over the road to fetch us a beer from the nearby Wine Shop!|The breakfast was simple but good. Overall, a good experience and we would definitely go there again.

Arrived 10pm at the hotel as a stop over before taking the Toy Train to Shimla the following morning. The room was very basic as was the bathroom - but this was overshadowed by the very warm welcome we received from the man on reception - he arranged a take out meal for us in the hotel eating area - and a taxi to pick us up at 05:00 to get the train - excellent service but the hotel could do with a makeover

Rooms were bit upper than average although staff was co-operative. Food in the dinner was nice and breakfast was also good with basic things like paranthas, bread + jam or butter & tea/coffee. This hotel is on main road of Kalka which makes it easily accessible as one want to avoid getting stuck in resorts over the hills during heavy rains. Only the thing which can bother you is the power backup system as electricity cuts off then lights in the room will not work, only the AC, Geyser and one light in washroom will work. Overall it was quite & decent place to stay.

It is a very elegant and spacious place. Had a cosy stay here before we commenced our journey towards shimla. The hotel is right next to the railway tracks which was fun to watch. Hotel services were of no hindrance. No sanitation or water problems faced during the stay.

Basic , clean adequate for one night|No restaurant, steep entry, Very noisy with customers in an out all night. Rather unpleasant stay really. Hot shower, cheap and clean best description. Not somewhere I would select again

It is newly built hotel. Tarrif is economical. Rooms are clean. AC rooms, hot water in taps. Service is good. BUT you can't get tea before 8 a.m. so if one wants to leave early, should leave without having tea. Breakfast is available at 9 a.m. Complimentary breakfast includes 2 alloo parantha, 1 small curd and one tea. Hotel closes at 11 p.m. so no midnight availability of rooms.

It was a one night stay at this place to catch the Kalka Shimla toy train in the next day morning. It was a nice stay at this facility. They arranged tasty food from outside as they don't have kitchen facilities. The staff were polite and provided good service. Even they helped to get a cab to go to railway station in the early morning. You may hear the noise from the railway track which was nearby. However it was a good stay at windcross.

We stayed for one night in this hotel on the way from Shimla to Delhi. This is located nearby to Kalka railway station. The owner of the hotel was very co-operative and he arranged pick up and drop to and from railway station at very reasonable prices. The rooms were also spacious with clean washrooms. Overall a budget hotel which gives you services value for the money paid!!
