Hotel Sai

Booked through makemytrip, Hardly a hotel, looks more like a rented apartment with unhygienic and unmaintained rooms. When we reached, then they started cleaning the room which was filled with litter.

I was on family tour to Himachal Pradesh. We too stop over in Kalka before proceeding to Kasauli. This hotel is quite closer to raliway station (walking distance). We could not get any rickshaw as we were quite late. We checked in and went to room. It was shocking. The room door could not be closed. When we asked the hotel guy, he replied the room door is having some problem but don't worry. No problem ! I felt quite awkward to sleep without room door closed and that too with family !||||Anyway we managed to get some food and got back to hotel. Thankfully nothing had moved ! We watched TV for some time and suddenly lights were off. we asked the guy again and he said Kalka falls in Haryana and has some electricity load shedding. We waited for some time and then decided to sleep. Some time in night I woke up and it was completely dark. There was no night lamp also. we all couldn't sleep properly as the hotel is on highway and we were feeling bit unsecured. In morning we got fresh and decided to get out of hotel as soon as possible. We couldn't get hot water to bath as electric heater was not functioning. ||||Overall it was very bad experience. I remember I had stayed this hotel once before on my business trip but this time it was completely bad experience and then never stayed this hotel again.

The hotel is good, rooms are tidy, staff is polite, food was good though slightly expensive.. However, the hotel lacks great valley view, may be because it is surrounded by other hotels. Overall a decent place.||||Kasauli hotels have lot of restrictions for stags and people without families, hence please confirm the same before the booking the hotel.

There was no electricity in the hotel when we arrived. Room not particularly clean, neither was the bathroom. The bed had one of those horrible fleece blankets, no sheet! When we got up to leave the next morning the water was not on. We only booked this hotel as it was close to the station in order to get the train to Shimla. We couldn't find anywhere decent to eat locally either.

Don't ever stay in this hotel. Its a very very dirty hotel. Dirty towels, dirty bed sheets, AC not working properly. Full of dust in room. Bathroom...terrible. Flush not working. ||Only positive that one manager who is all in one (service provide, maint. technician, waiter)....was good. location is near to kalka railway station but they are other hotels near to kalka railway station. no parking for car though claimed. All night we are sleepless and worried about our car.

Just like a guest house in budget. Rooms are big. I booked it through oyo. I reached there at 8 am but the staff did not allow me to checkin before 12:00 pm, even I talked earlier on call and he agreed for that, even all the rooms were empty. I requested him many times and finally he agreed at around 10 am. In the name of staff there is only one person as care taker. No tea, no food.

A very bad experience. The rooms were unhygenic. Pillow were displayed without cover. Bed sheet were dirty. On demand room server provided one dirty pillow with dirty cover.the sanitary fitment of bathroom were non working condition as the wastage water dumped inside bathroom. The basic information to know is hotel located near about 1.5 km from railway station .

We had been there in Hotel Sai long back in 2016. We had the first night halt before going to Manali. The staff residing with his family in the hotel itself was a very nice person. We had the second night stand after returning from Shimla. That very person helped to reach us to the railway station at 4am. If I go to that place I will surely stay at this hotel for sure.
