Hotel Virsa Kalka

Nice hotel staff, they tried to do what they could but the rooms are only good in pictures. Blankets are unwashed, bedsheets have dried food stains, pillow covers have oil marks, smelly and stained towels. I won't recommend to stay here if you are paying more than Rs 500. This place is something of a last option on the road kind.

Stayed there for a night. After reaching to Kalka, I had to wait for next day to catch the toy train so I wanted to stay close to the railway station. For this hotel, only location is the plus point, nothing else. First of all, they took more than one hour to check me in. I booked this hotel from makemytrip and paid full amount in advanced. When I reached there and showed the booking paper, the man in receiption started to call someone and kept me waiting. He tried several times but couldn't get through. After waiting for long 15 min, I asked what is the problem and the answer was they don't entertain guest from Bangladesh. That was a blow on my face! I was there with my family with my little kid, tired from long journey, want to have some rest....booked and paid for the room and now they are saying this! I said, no way, I am not going anywhere with my bag and baggage. You sort this out. Then he started to call on mobile again. After sometime he talked to someone and then he bring out C form and asked me to fill it up. It is the duty of the Hotel management to fill up C form but They gave it to me for filling up. I was tired and exhausted but still I filled up 3 forms. All those formalities took more than an hour. and after that they gave us a room. The room was old. Toilet was not cleaned properly. I asked the room boy to clean the toilet again. He came and "cleaned" it but it looked same and disguisting to me. Toilet seat was broken. Room was dark and dirty. It was a total disgrace. Very very poor condition.

It's one of those pathetic hotel those who are not bothered about there guest. Only thing they care is money. Pay the money the dont even bother to provide a soap for the washroom. Dirty room. No towel no bucket. Absolute waste of money. Only thing positive about this hotel is that its very close to the kalka station.

Worst place to stay. U will get feeling as u r sleeping at platform. No comfort. If u ask them something u will get service hours later. We chked in around 1430 all staff were sleeping wen we ask receptionist he said they were doing night shift hence they r sleeping. We chked out at 530am nxt day still they were sleeping. OYO'S WORST PROPERTY

Worst hotel. The people there are very fraud minded. They have cancelled our booking just when we were entered in the hotel. They know that they are going to earn more by offline that's why they have cancelled our online booking purposely. Oyo must this hotel seriously and put this hotel in blacklisted category. Don't go there this is my humble request.

Not worth spending money, charged for 3 pax with assurance to provide extra bed (not provided), no drinking water, cleanliness is ok nothing great (usually seen in 85% hotels), bathroom comes with very old fixtures (you dont feel like touching those taps and faucets. OVERALL BAD!!

Worst place ever. Management is totally irresponsible and the room provided doesn't have working ac and tv + the bedsheets were not washed, ply of bed and the toilet seat was also broken. I have booked this place for 2 days but left this place just after staying one night. Really it was a very horrible experience!!
