Utsav Hotel, Jind

We have been going to Utsav Hotel for more than 20 years. But after what happened today, we've decided we are never coming back here again. Today we were 4 adults, 1 child, and Laddu Gopal ji (for whom we always ask for a separate plate). First, we sat on a 4-seater table and ordered food. But before the food came, we started feeling very uncomfortable as the space was too tight, especially with a child and Laddu Gopal with us. We saw that the restaurant was around 70% empty -- 3 big 8-seater tables and many 4-seater tables were free. So we quietly moved to a 8-seater table. But the waiter came and rudely told us to get up. He said we're not allowed to sit there. We felt insulted but still moved back to the smaller table. Just a few minutes later, we saw a single person come and sit at a 10-seater table, and he was served food there without any issue. We politely asked the staff why we weren't allowed but he was, even though we were 6 people including Laddu Gopal. Instead of answering properly, both the waiter and manager started shouting and arguing with us in front of everyone. It was very insulting, especially because I was sitting with my family. Even till our dinner got over, no new customer came in, still they behaved like this with us. And honestly, this is not the first issue. I have ordered food online from this place many times, and every time the quality is poor. Naan is mostly burnt and the sabzi feels like watery kichdi. It looks like they don't care about regular customers anymore. Now when restaurants like Raja Ji Dhaba and Jind Haveli are giving much better service at the same price with spacious dining halls, better staff behaviour, and even some activities for kids, then why should anyone come here? From now on, we will also prefer going there. Maybe this is the reason why people are leaving this place and going to better options. Very bad behaviour, poor service, and food quality is also getting worse. Not recommended at all.

Poorly managed old property. Food quality is basic and options are very limited. Rooms are not refurbished timely and old window ACs are noisy. And the worst part is the Location, which is in the heart of the city and roads are choked as usual.

Waiter at restaurant are in hurry picking up cutlery before you have finished food, pathetic experience.

Quiet good,, but washroom are not hygienic.

I have been associated with Utsav Hotel since 2008. My marriage took place in Utsav Hotel only. My son's first birthday was celebrated in Utsav only. Utsav is always my No 1 choice since that time. After a long time, I have visited for Dinner. Interior has been redesigned in restaurant area. Overall look and feel is better than earlier. Service was good. Taste of food is well maintained. Although some of items like Vargin Mojito was not good..in fact most of restaurant in Jind don't know how to prepare.

We visited restaurant in the afternoon. There wasn't much of a rush. Seating capacity is moderate. Cleanliness was maintained. The food was delicious. But despite a few customers the timing they took to deliver food was more than expected.
