The Galgotias Hotel

A nice and quiet Hotel with everything one needs, in an relatively quiet area. Staff was exceptionally nice and helpful. It is located only half an hour from the airport though roughly 1.5h away from Delhi City Centre depending on traffic more. The water in the shower did not get fully hot and as international travellers we were not able to book directly, through the website, or email.

The property was listed with good ratings on mmt. However, actually it is terrible. The AC while working makes sound like a generator. The bedsheets and the quilt have turned from white to yellow with stains on it. Cleanliness is below average. I would not recommend this hotel at all. Even they are charging whopping 4k for a night and I think only 500RS is enough for a stay like this.

Had attended a family function there. Hall good enough for small gatherings. Lacks parking space a bit for large functions such as hosting wedding etc.

They provide water in unsealed glass bottles. The housekeeping staff was very arrogant when asked for an extra bottle of water. When he brought a bottle with refilled water I couldn't take it since I wasn't sure about cleanliness and hygiene of water filled because of the housekeeping staff's rudeness. One could fall ill if the staff spit into it or don't wash the bottles properly. Kitchen staff are very good. Which is the only plus point.

One of the worst hotels I've stayed in. Stayed for 9 days from London. No hot water for showering, rude staff, they claim online to be 4 star but even the staff inside claim they aren't, can't show any accreditations, shower rooms were flooded, even the general manager didn't want to rectify my situation. Dusty, rooms not cleaned properly, don't be fooled by the images. Many more issues. Will be reporting them to the authorities - have pictures and videos! Avoid! Avoid! Avoid!

I booked the place for my daughter's first birthday celebration. Before booking I was a bit nervous coz it was the first experience with the hotel. But I must say this is the best place. We loved the food, specially Paneer Tikka. The service was amazing, those were very attentive. And the special thanks goes to Mr Amit Kumar (The Manager), he is the best one in person and professionally too.
