The Atara

Loved my stay at the Atara; great rooms, comfortable beds, fantastically massive bathrooms, and finger-licking good food. A special shout out to the wait staff, took great care of my food preferences (I don't eat gluten) even though I was extremely particular about my lunch and dinner. They also have a small cozy seating space behind the lobby, which is great if you want to chill out or have a smoke. I made full use of it during my stay there :-)

I stayed here after the Mahakumbh as a rest point in between visiting some other places and to meet a few friends and see some of Gurgaon and do some light shopping. I had gotten the cold/sinusitis from the dust and this was the prefect retreat for me to rest and relax while near to what I wanted to do. The staff made me feel safe and at home in the cafe when I needed meals! There was also ergonomic desk space for me to do some bookings and writing. I'd definitely stay again for a home away from home feel!

Scam Alert! Unethical & Money-Hungry Management - Avoid at All Costs!||Our experience at The Atara was nothing short of horrendous. My partner and I booked a base room for 5000 for one night, expecting a peaceful stay. However, what followed was an absolute scam orchestrated by the hotel's greedy and unprofessional management.||After checking in, we stepped out for a few hours at 10 PM. When we returned at 2 AM, we were shocked to be told that our room had been "checked out" simply because we were not inside it for those 4 hours! Without any prior notice or confirmation, they forcibly vacated our room and then had the audacity to demand another 3000 to stay in the same room for the night we had already paid for.||Absolutely Ridiculous & Money-Hungry Tactics| No Check-Out Confirmation - They decided we had "checked out" just because we stepped out for a few hours!| Blatant Overcharging - 5000 for a night, then forcing us to pay another 3000 for the same night.| Extremely Commercial & Dishonest - They care more about squeezing extra money from guests than providing hospitality.| Horrible Customer Service - No sense of responsibility or ethics from the management.||This hotel is only focused on making money through unethical means rather than ensuring a comfortable stay for guests. Stay far away from The Atara unless you want to be overcharged, mistreated, and scammed! There are plenty of better hotels that actually respect their customers.||Rating: 0/5 - Would never step foot here again!

Atara is the kind of place that instantly makes you feel at home. This small boutique hotel, nestled in a quiet street, charms you with its cozy & well-appointed rooms, large comfortable beds, surprisingly big bathrooms and warm and elegant decor. The staff is amazing, going above and beyond to make your feel welcome and comfortable. From personalized recommendations to thoughtful gestures, they ensure that your stay is exceptional. And then there is the food! The veg stew, the bunna gosht, the aglio aglio, were all ABSOLUTELY scrumptious. Found myself licking my fingers, which doesn't happen very often. If you're in Gurgaon or visiting the city, and looking for a place away from home, that offers all the perks of a comfort, care and good food, Atara is a must-stay.

Hotel Atara sorry to inform you that i get very bad experience during my stay from 10.12.24 to 12.12.24. Following is the observations. Hope you take it positively & get improve. 1.There is no warm water at bathrooms. Even register complaints 3 times. 2. No updating of room cutlery day to day. 3. Very Poor service at restaurant while dinner. 4. I have ordered chicken biryani on 11.12.11.which is look like fired rice with chicken pieces with lots of oil. 4. I have order pepper n salt veg. crispy on 11.12.24.It is totally oily ,burnt & test less. 5. Very delayed service in restaurant for dinner.

We arrived from California, and stayed one week. Good location off the busy main roads, but close enough to walk to shops. The staff were great, and provided excellent friendly service. Clean, spacious, quiet room with everything we needed. The food was very good with many choices. We had a fun experience and would definitely stay again.

Very good staff and nice room... quiet place and good restaurant foods

I stayed for 2 weeks, and was traveling for work. What did I appreciate: rooms are fairly spacious. They've opaque curtains by the balcony, if you're a day sleeper. Yellow lighting, good furniture except for the bedside tables. Support staff are a kind, responsive set of people. Quite pleasant to interact with. Absolutely helpful! The breakfast buffet. As someone who eats only twice a day, this was key for me. What could've been better: while I understand it was a scorching summer, the power would go off at least 4 times a day too while I was asleep and I'll wake up sweating because the air conditioning would be switched off. I was beyond pissed. I wish they'd kept a bottle of hand wash instead of hand. The rest was all good. Thanks, team Atara!
