Hotel Amar Palace

Bagiya Restaurant Review: Visited Amar Palace out of nostalgia. But experience was kinda pathetic. Food: 5 Ambience: 1 (last visited it in the year 2012 I guess and seeing the dirty sofas and chairs, it's quite apparent sofas and chairs have not been changed/ dry cleaned ever!) Nothing new, all old, monotonous. F&B Price: 1. High prices. Unfair practices. They charge extra than MRP which is not fair practice. Bottles marked @20Rs. MRP are billed 40 Rs. + Gst, Can marked @65Rs. MRP is billed 85+ gst. Washroom: 1. Leaking. Food Qty: 1. Too low. Prices are at around 400 and they serve like a quarter of full portion or hardly 200ml.

Recently I have attended wedding plans like Haldi Mehndi etc. in their hall. They have everything required by the people and they provide the facility of booking the hall according to the availability of the people. If we talk about the price, it is quite high which is more than Golden Orchid and other restaurants. However, if we talk about Amar Palace, the size of their hall is fine. Some time ago I also thought of organizing a program here but due to the high price, I had to drop my plan here.

I recently stayed at Hotel Amar Palace in Ambala City, and it was one of the worst experiences I've ever had at a hotel. From the moment I arrived, it was clear that the staff was not interested in providing any sort of decent service. They were careless, unprofessional, and displayed a complete lack of basic hospitality standards. The staff seemed entirely untrained and inattentive. My requests for simple amenities like clean towels and drinking water were either ignored or fulfilled after hours of waiting. When I approached the reception with a query, they responded rudely and seemed completely disinterested in helping. Such behavior is unacceptable in the hospitality industry. The rooms were equally disappointing. Despite being advertised as "well-maintained," they were dirty and poorly kept. The bedsheets and pillows looked unwashed, and the bathroom was in a terrible state, with broken fixtures and a foul odor. It was evident that cleanliness is not a priority for this hotel. The overall atmosphere of the hotel was far from welcoming. The staff's attitude was cheap and dismissive, making me feel unwelcome throughout my stay. It felt like they were only interested in taking money from guests without offering any value in return. Additionally, the hotel is located in Ambala City, but its surroundings are not particularly pleasant or convenient. There was a lot of noise, and the area felt unsafe, especially during the evening hours. Overall, my stay at Hotel Amar Palace was a nightmare. I would strongly advise anyone considering this place to think twice and look for better alternatives. A little extra money spent on a reputable hotel will save you from the stress and disappointment of staying at such an unprofessional establishment. Rating: 1/5 Because less than 1 is not allowed

Worst Experience - Rude behavior of the dinning Staff . The service fell short of expectations, which affected the overall dinning experience. Unprofessional Staff & basic hospitality were not met .

We also ate at their restaurant and the food was amazing. We didn't like Gulab Jamun but all other items like dal makhani, paneer, bread etc were amazing. And the complimentary breakfast was way above our expectations.
