Worst hotel i have ever been to. I had booked this for business purpose. First thing they don't have own parking.. so you had to park your 4 wheeler on road side on your own risk.. second they don't upfrontly provide you service e.g. there was no towel in the room so I had to ask for the same.. no water bottle provided, upon ask they arrange bottles. Early morning I have realized no toothpaste.. when we had called staff he told from starting we are not providing toothpaste to guests... I was like man we are paying you 1500 bucks for one night and you are saying no toothpaste et all. I would not recommend this below average hotel to any one.. only the location is good and it is very close to railway station. So accessibility to transport is good.

The experience was amazing and comfort to the breakfast and dinner in orchid restaurant. Restaurant staff is very helpful and always greeting with smile. Mr.Gaurang,Brijesh is give the best experience and i feel like a home. They also serve out of the buffet food items.Nice

Shagun hotel is one of the worst that I've seen in my recent travels. Night time Duty manager at the reception desk is indeed quite rude and doesn't much care about guest stay comfort or feedback about the hotel. He initially literally refused to give us the room as per our booking (Executive room) which he mentioned was because the hotel was full, even though we had done an advance booking through Agoda. The assistant instead helped us to get the appropriate room. There was a lot of construction material in reception area and the hotel didn't feel welcoming at all. There are a lot of mosquitoes in the hotel reception as well as in hotel rooms and no anti-mosquito vaporizer or anything of that sort was given in the room. Most dismaying aspect is that we were given room on 7th floor and there was no landline telephone in the room to call the reception!! We checked 3 of their rooms and each room had a damp smell and walls with peeling-off paint. Water pressure on 7th floor room was very poor in basin as well as in bath shower. Also there was only a single elevator working. Although complimentary breakfast is provided, there were just 2 items - idli and bread-butter on the menu and unfortunately, neither of those had any good taste and weren't even being served hot enough. Also note that even though they have a restaurant and they served the breakfast, the night-assistant mentioned that lunch and dinner are not available in the hotel. Also, the phone numbers present on MMT, Agoda and Google are all incorrect. Only JustDial has the correct phone number for the hotel. ||Only good things in favour of this hotel: Its availability in relatively affordable rates -> we were able to book it just 1 day in advance even though it was Christmas-New Year vacation time & hot water was available for bath (thank God for this!).

The facilities shown while booking does not match with the present condition No Restaurant facilities (denied) No Cutlery on arranging food from outside(denied) whole used Cutlery was lying outside other rooms No Cleanliness Bathroom drain was choking Shower/Tap Knob was giving electric shock A dangerous hotel Toilet commode was not cleaned Wash basin tap was broken The wall plaster was deteriorating TV was not working As told by one of the staff from the property that they are just looting the people by high charges and no facilities. Worst experience ever.

Everything about this hotel is pathetic, please avoid this hotel at all costs. Even if they offer you free stay, AVOID AT ALL COSTS. The rooms are dirty, cockroaches roam around in the room to give you a warm welcome. The staff is very very un cooperative to help you with anything. There is NO TELEPHONE in your room to contact reception for any issues. This is absolutely the worst hotel, sorry "oyo" lodge that I've had the unfortunate opportunity to stay at. Don't go by the pictures. The moment I checked in, I had this urge of checking out. And I did so, and the owner stepped in the hotel during that time and simply told me to leave if you were checking out and was least bothered to hear the issues a customer faces. This is a sincere request to you all. PLEASE AVOID AT ALL COSTS. EVEN IF THE OWNER BEGS YOU TO STAY. DONT. RUN AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. PLEASE AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

I'd like to share our review on our just one night stay at this hotel and how horrible of an idea it was to book it online before checking the actual location and rooms. My partner and I decided to stay at a hotel last week since we were in Vadodara City for a friend's function and had to stay back for one night as we had an early morning train. I will start my review with a very disappointed note sharing my views on the hospitality of the front desk executives. The way they talked on the call was rude and we thought it might defer in person but it was the same in person. When we checked in the first room which was on the 6th floor (611 to be precise), it was too suffocating for us even to be there in the room, so we both went down at the reception asking for help and getting a room which was well maintained and which has a better ventilation. Firstly he replied saying, and here I quote "aaj toh windows bina ke hi rooms available hai aur koi bhi room me fan to nahi hi milega aapko" and to our greater disappointment, he asked us to check in for the room right about the 611, which was 711. And I'm not even exaggerating that the room looked and felt even more low maintained and unhygienic compared to the previous one. My partner and I were both very tired and had to wake up early in the morning so we decided to sleep in for the night. I have also attached the pictures which we took on how the actual room looked. I'll start with how unclean the bathroom was. It has stains all over the toilet seat. The corners of the cupboard, the bathroom and the room had tarnished patches - looked like it had not been washed or cleaned for a very long time. Then there was a corner which had weird patches in the corner and it was also broken. The ceiling was not maintained and neither was the bathroom. Everything from start (the welcoming of the receptionist) to the check out part (when we realised that the room doesn't lock since it had a broken lock) was poorly maintained and highly disrespectful and disappointing. I would not recommend staying at this place even in the case of an emergency.

Very bed service Water pressure on 7th floor room was very poor in basin as well as in bath shower. I have been staying in this hotel for the last 1 month. But the service here is very poor. Guests are respected here for only 2 days. Whereas we pay them to stay here. Beddddddddd service .....

Good location but poor hotel. Looks like it was a good hotel once upon a time but owners could not maintain and run it. There is no service or amenities. Rooms are in poor shape but they have adjusted their price accordingly I believe. A decent family hotel for those who are looking for an alternative for a cheap oyo hotel near railway station.
