Hotel Review: An Unpleasant Stay I recently stayed at a hotel that unfortunately fell far below expectations, and I feel it is important to share my experience to help others make an informed decision. My stay was marred by a series of cleanliness and maintenance issues that left me feeling uncomfortable and disappointed throughout the duration of my visit. 1. Dirty Linens Upon entering the room, the first thing I noticed was the state of the bed linens. The sheets were visibly stained, and there were noticeable marks on the pillowcases. It was immediately clear that they had not been changed or properly cleaned. It's incredibly unsettling to think that a basic standard of hygiene, such as clean bedding, was not met. 2. Filthy Room The overall cleanliness of the room was appalling. The carpet had noticeable dirt stains, and the surfaces, including the desk and nightstand, were sticky and had dust built up. The bathroom mirror had smudges all over it, and there was a layer of grime around the edges of the floor. It was evident that the room had not been cleaned or maintained for quite some time. 3. Condom Found in Trash One of the most disturbing discoveries was finding a used condom in the trash can. This not only reflects a lack of cleanliness but also shows a serious lapse in the housekeeping department's attention to detail. This type of oversight is completely unacceptable, as it indicates negligence in both cleaning and inspecting rooms before guests check in. 4. Broken Toilet The toilet was another issue that added to the discomfort of the stay. The flush mechanism was broken, and it didn't function properly. It took several attempts to get it to flush, which was incredibly inconvenient and frustrating. A functioning bathroom is a basic necessity, and its failure to meet this standard was a major issue. 5. Dirty Entrance from the Basement The entrance to the hotel from the basement was filthy. The hallway was poorly lit, and there was garbage scattered around. The smell of dampness and mildew hung in the air, further adding to the unpleasant atmosphere. As a guest, the first impression matters, and the state of the entrance made me feel unsafe and uncomfortable. 6. Stinking Smell Lastly, the pervasive stinking smell in the room and throughout the hotel was unbearable. It smelled musty, like mold and mildew, and no amount of ventilation or air freshener could mask it. The smell was so overpowering that it lingered in my clothes long after I left the hotel. Conclusion: I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. The cleanliness and maintenance issues were unacceptable, and the overall experience was unpleasant. The dirty linens, filthy room, broken toilet, and disturbing discovery in the trash made for an extremely uncomfortable stay. It is clear that the hotel does not prioritize hygiene, customer comfort, or maintenance. For anyone looking for a pleasant and comfortable experience, I would advise seeking out other accommodations that can provide a clean and safe environment.

Booked through hostel world with an outstanding balance of around 5500 rupees to pay on arrival. The hotel tried to charge close to 18000 rupees when we arrived. We left and booked into another hotel where they told us a lot of hotels can't take foreigners and they tried to scam us.

Hotel and hospitality is good, but the outdoor area is full of fish smell .
