Good, well kept hotel, clean rooms. Service is okay. Need to keep a watch on minor repairs and maintenance. The soap dispenser in the common washroom for instance, was not refilled in spite of repeated reminders, the lift fans not working, door card not operating, etc. Food quality is good. Excellent location for tourists as well as business visits and shopping. Overall good & reasonably priced.

Hello, I am writing this honest review about the services here in Best Western (ALKAPURI Vadodara), staff is very rude they don't listen to customer problem instead of listening to the customer they give us the answer in a chapri type people and if I ask there name they say wrong name that's why I clicked his photograph and post it here Previously I stayed here that time also I faced a lot but I have chosen once again because of the location I asked them to cut down fruits and make a juice they denied that it's harmful for there kitchen Then I asked them give me a watermelon juice and add these fruits into that they said okay now these fruits are not harmful for there kitchens because I have paid 105 for one small glass of watermelon juice Next day I asked them to cut pomegranate for me they denied that it's harmful sir It's fruits guys not a poison I recommend you all not to book this hotel Not only that breakfast in the morning it's like oh god same items every day nothing new And I reporting his photograph as he misbehave with me

The room was booked in my wife's name. |While the room was allotted promptly, there were a few non-acceptable issues with the room itself. |Bathroom was smelly & dirty (unclean). Maybe the turnaround from check-out to check-in may have created this situation, BUT, not expected from a property like Best Western.|Of the two nights that we stayed there, the second night was just awful and "Hot".. |why ? Their Airconditioning refused to cool the room (with the outside temp being 40 degrees C in Vadodara. After almost 3 hours of discussions (almost till 1 am at night) and the hotel's ridiculous explanations, we had to just spend the hight in the heat.

I stayed here twice. I had same bad experiences of room service and same thing repeats again as i have never received Hot water in room despite of 4-5 call regarding this. Neither technician came to see nor reception bother it. Reception staff was not helpful on queries either. Room window and curtains are aged old. Bathroom accessories are of very low quality. Room lights are very dull and not pleasant at all. This HOTEL NEED SERIOUS ATTENTION TO THIS COMPLAINTS.

Not a High End Choice but delivers. Food was tasty everyday, Staff was less in numbers but no complaints to the services they offered. Rooms were clean, however I will suggest timely maintenance of ACs to save on Power consumption. I will surely prefer to stay here on my next business trips to come.

Decent room for family. Had taken only dinner in there hotel which was good . Good service , did not face any issues also helped me to get a cab even though it was expensive. Have stayed there for 2 nights and did not find any issues with the stay . If you are looking only for night stay with family then this hotel is recommended . Just near hotel you can find lot of street food options and also you can try Alka restaurant for alternative food option .

We chose to stay at this hotel, which came highly recommended, from January 13th to January 22nd, 2025. Unfortunately, our experience was far from what we had anticipated, and we were left extremely disappointed. On the second day of our stay, we decided to enjoy a meal of Chicken Tikka paired with salads, which initially seemed delightful. However, the joy quickly turned into a nightmare the following morning when I began to suffer from severe food poisoning. The symptoms hit me hard, leaving me bedridden for two agonizing days. In my distress, a friend visiting from London came to see me and brought along some antibiotics, which thankfully helped accelerate my recovery. I am immensely grateful for his timely assistance. Given our experience, we feel it is essential to caution others about the food served at this hotel. Exercise extreme care when choosing what to eat. Additionally, we found the room's television and Hi-Fi system to be utterly useless, detracting further from our stay. Based on our overall experience, we would classify this hotel as only a 1-star establishment. It certainly did not meet our expectations, and we hope our warning serves to guide future guests in their choices.

Location: Very centrally located in Alkapuri which is just a 10 min. drive from the railway station and 20 mins away from the airport. Walk out of the hotel and you are on the main road with loads of shopping options and restaurants. It can't get better than this in terms of location Rooms: Decently sized rooms (we had an executive double room) with an individual AC and TV. Besides this, it is just a basic room. The tea kettle was dirty beyond compare with the lid broken and burnt black on the inside. We asked for an iron which was missing the temperature knob so you couldn't adjust the temperature Breakfast: Limited and basic items on the buffet breakfast Tariff: The hotel quotes are higher than some of the online portals Reception: The check in & check out was fast & smooth This hotel needs to improve on the housekeeping aspect. Overall, I could see a lot of areas that needed a thorough cleaning and some upgradation too.
