Hotel Privya Surat - Rooms & Banquet

I usually book hotels through Goibibo, but this time I decided to give this hotel a try based on the positive reviews. However, I'm puzzled by how someone could rate it 4 or 5 stars when it clearly doesn't meet the basic standards of a 3-star hotel. I paid for room amenities, but the TV wouldn't work. I complained about it for two days, but they couldn't even turn it on. It's frustrating when you make a reservation and the room isn't ready when you arrive. They said it wasn't ready because it wasn't vacant, but what's the point of making a reservation if you can't check out as per your standards time - 10:00 am? It seems like they were wasting time since then. The room service is also terrible. You have to ask the receptionist for basic things like napkins and towels.

Worst service worst rooms Noisy Unclean unhygienic and pathetic all in one. Rooms have cockroaches and hairs. And is very very unclean. Even the towels were unclean. Bed is too short and TV and Phone not working. Dogs bark in night and lift noises and to add mosquitoes Complete disaster

Hi I have booked this hotel by seeing the review but after reaching here totally disappointed and I don't know how they got the successful review score as rooms are not good, no hygiene and after entering to the room it was noticed that cockroach is roaming inside the walls I have taken video but couldn't attach hence attaching screenshot from the same. Further there is no functional lock available at main door. I'm putting this review from initial stage itself before completing the stay. However will update if anymore this based on good or bad. Additionally, now they gave a towel after one hour which is torn like anything and dirty condition

Yes hotel regarding my own experience is good because I forgot my neckband in hotel but Reception manager Mr. Rahul Gupta helped me to find out my neckband. Thank you Mr.Rahul Gupta

This place has got very friendly staff and it's One of the best place in PAL , Surat to stay. Keep it up !!!

All the rooms were smelling badly when they opened the rooms to show and select. I have seen mosquitos and cockroaches in the bathroom. On top of that 2 major issues which I faced was: 1. Jet spray was not working at all, it was broken and couldn't use it (You can imagine the problem I would have faced) 2. I had to call 6 times to the reception for a soap and shampoo in the morning which was suppose to be there in the bathroom Overall, I don't recommend this hotel for a good stay. I wish I could give zero stars

Location wise is good, but there were cleanliness issues. Ants and small Cockroach found in the room. Badsheet not cleaned enough. AC not Cooling.. Only Air flow working. TV atso not working due to set top box recharge expired.

I stayed at this hotel on June 24 and unfortunately , my experience was quite disappointing due to billing mistake on their end. Despite multiple calls and messages , the issue has not been resolved. I have contacted them repeatedly , but each time , I either receive vague assurance or no response at all. This level of service is unacceptable . I expected better communication and resolution from a hotel of this standing.
