Hotel Merit

Hotel Merit in Surat was a terrible experience. The staff was rude and unprofessional, and the management showed no concern for guest complaints. The room was filthy with unchanged bed sheets and a strong moldy smell, making it hard to breathe. Basic amenities like the AC and fan didn't work properly, and the hotel refused to fix them. To make it worse, they increased the price after confirming the booking and threatened cancellation if we didn't pay. Overall, the hygiene, service, and ethics were extremely poor. I would strongly advise against staying here--completely disappointing and not worth the money. PLEASE AVOID HOTEL MERIT BESIDE THIS HOTEL WHITEROSE IS VERY GOOD AND WITH GOOD BEHAVIOUR AND HELPFUL STAFFS PRESENT THERE.

Visited this hotel last month. Good rooms. Breakfast was very good. We really enjoyed our stay.

Very badly maintained rooms. Door lock broken With cockroaches all over and huge railway side traffic sound Could not sleep whole night Hotel receptionist telling me that the room was booked at exceptional low price due to which they are unable to provide room But later room was provided

Everything was good the vibe was good and overall experience was awesome .. i think the room kit was incomplete it should contain a paste and a toothbrush too and try giving a bigger comb .. well i would definitely visit again in future

Hotel merit is overall a satisfactory hotel. Rooms are good but not much spacious. Noisy due to nearby station and city traffic but not a big issue. Parking is available but needs a great care for bigger SUV cars. Care should be taken for basic amenities: hot water, AC conditions. Staff is good
