Sarovar Portico Somnath

My recent stay at Sarovar Portico Somnath was nothing short of fantastic. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm smiles and genuine hospitality. The staff throughout the hotel were incredibly cordial and always ready to assist with any request. A special mention must be made for Balram at the reception. Despite my early arrival, he efficiently and smoothly handled my check-in process, ensuring I could settle into my room without any hassle. His professionalism and welcoming demeanor truly set a positive tone for my entire stay. The breakfast spread was another highlight. The variety and quality of the food were impressive, offering a delightful start to each day. Overall, the excellent service provided by every member of the team.

Sarovar Portico is different. I liked the food serving staff and all the staff who talked to me face to face. Along with them, I also made friends with the reception staff Mustufa, I liked his voice and his words a lot. The housekeeping boy Firoz's work on the corridor was also good. The room facilities were also very good, they provided a good room even though we did not book. There was a little smell outside but the atmosphere was good. I have experienced many hotels but I have never had such an experience. Our darshan in Somnath was also good. The reception staff, HK staff of this hotel are very good and beautiful. And the room facilities are very good. If people who come for Somnath darshan want to have a good experience, then they should choose this hotel first.

The stay was comfortable, rooms were clean. The staff in the restaurant was particularly very helpful. Thanks to Mrs Aparna, and Mr Suman for their continuous service with a smile. Mr Tribhuvan was also helpful in restaurant with his suggestions and attentiveness. Overall a decent experience.

Very good place to stay. Room service is also very nice , Morning breakfast is very good. We liked the hotel|Staff and their hospitality. Specially in restaurants staff mr. Tribhuwan sakir chandan yash.suamn I will recommend this hotel to stay in.

We had booked through Expedia which had a package of HALFBOARD, The Reception Manager insisted there was no such package included. After a brief call with Expedia the hotel manager finally accepted that it was included. Most of the Staff were polite and helpful but they had to be reminded more than twice on most of the services. The dining experience was not at all a 5 star service. They had very small number of staff which just couldn't handle the amount of guest they had to cater. LOTS OF TRAINING AND HOSPITALITY COURSE IS REQUIRED FOR THE STAFF TO BE EFFECTIVE AND EFFICIENT

The staff is not very well trained. There is complete lack of welcoming staff. No smiles no greetings type. Demotivated staff. They leave the duty without completing the task. Front staff has no control over other staff supporting. Bathroom was smelly possibly from the drainage. The hotel requires rejuvenation for staff and upkeep and maintenance.

Spacious rooms and a comfortable stay. The gym is quite good, and the swimming pool is nice too.||However, there are a few issues that didn't sit well with me, listed below:||To begin with, the front desk receptionist, Pankaj Singh Mel, was barely hospitable. It genuinely felt like he was being forced to stand there and do the job. I'd 10/10 avoid interacting with him, the last thing you want at a hotel is someone who makes you feel unwelcome.||Also, room service forgot to apply the 10% discount on food and drinks, even after I pointed it out multiple times.

Stayed here for three nights Nice ambience,neat and clean hotel, courteous staff. Specially front desk staff is very polite and courteous. Breakfast spread has variety and is delicious. But house keeping is lethargic. Behaviour is impeccable but even for water you have to wait for 30 to 45 minutes. Room cleaning did not leave any towels or water. No tissues in room even after complaint nothing was done we left for sight seeing and found two not so clean towels kept on basin. Complained again , they took their sweet time. Otherwise nice experience . Remember no Ola Uber here but hotel helps in booking cabs. You can get auto and if you are lucky some cab which just dropped some guests.
