Amidhara Resort

Amidhara is a really nice Hotel to stay if you are visiting to Gir... The hotel although being based on old property has really nice cottages and rooms and so is the service. This is due to it's recent renovation. The food was outstanding and the employees were really helpfull and the room service was quick. On a personal note, I visited Gir on 15 and 16 of April, 2025. At first we had booked a family room in a nearby hotel, the reviews were good and photos did look good so without a further wait we booked it.... But it turned out that it was the worst property in Gir.... The rooms were bad and so was service, our tv didn't work so we asked the staff to fix it but even after a few hours they didn't show up. So out of anger we decided to look for hotels nearby so we could leave that hotel... And luckily we found Amidhara and it made the trip much more enjoyable and comfortable for my family. Amidhara was better in every way and also cost the same as the previous hotel... Happy for the visit and would recommend it.... Thanks

Our Gir visit on April 15th and 16th, 2025, had a terrible beginning at a nearby hotel that completely failed to live up to its promises. Poor rooms and abysmal service, including an ignored request to fix our TV, left us looking for an escape. Luckily, we found Amidhara, and it saved our trip. This recently renovated hotel, with its lovely cottages and rooms, offered a world of difference. The service was outstanding - the staff were incredibly helpful, and room service was prompt. The food was also a major highlight. Surprisingly, Amidhara cost the same as our initial disastrous booking but was infinitely better in every way. For a comfortable and enjoyable stay in Gir, look no further than Amidhara. Highly recommended!

Don't ever stay here. Most dirty and disgusting rooms and dining room no sense of hygiene at all. Most things don't work properly fanny runs on the fastest speed. TV kept stopping and could not be repaired till next day. Bathrooms are disgusting and the drains smell. Location is ideal only 2km from sarsan gir but that's the only plus.

Had a pleasant stay at the resort! The property is nestled amidst nature, offering a very peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. It's also conveniently located near the Gir Safari reception office, which made our early morning safari very manageable. We really appreciated the early check-in, and the staff went out of their way to help us arrange a taxi, even instructing the driver to be extra careful as my wife is pregnant--very thoughtful! The only downside was the limited food options, as many tandoor and rice dishes were unavailable due to the chef being on leave. Apart from that, everything else was great. Would definitely recommend for a calm and nature-filled stay.

Mixed experience. Rooms, Restuarant and food is excellent. Services and staff response is very appreciative specially in the restaurant. Negative point is, Dog menace is found in the corridors. Dogs potty found in the corridor in the early morning. Stray dogs found sitting in the sofa kept for visitors. Receptionist kept on telling that hot water will come in 5 mints. But check out came but hot water didn't come. Otherwise room cleaning, beddings, atmosphere, food, location is very good.

The food was really good. They have upgraded our rooms from deluxe to super deluxe. The staff was very friendly and it has a playground for the kids as well. It was a good stay.

- Nearby Sinh Sadan for safari jeep onboarding. - On road location. - Rooms and resort area is spacious and swiming pool is in good condition. - Food quality is good, try to include in room booking otherwise the seperate charges are very high. - Lots of mosquito in room.

Overall good experience in quite resort full of mangoes tree. Indoor outdoor activities are good. Pool is very nice clean water .
