Galaxy Homestay

We booked a family room for 10 people 2 days staying there. Family Room was neat and clean equipped with all essential necessities. Owner of this home stay were humble. Pricing was affordable. They serve tea and coffee in morning. For lunch dinner you have to eat from any other restaurant or order online. Car parking area also available which is in the backyard side.

Host and Location: The best place and the best homestay whenever you are visiting statue of unity. It's 25km from SOU in the heart of the city called Raj Pipla. The place is basic but it's a huge mansion and what makes this place amazing is the host, he is super awesome and helpful. From the day you arrived he will make you feel like it's your own home. Even the host's mother was even very kind to us. We went there from Pune along with my wife and 1yr old kid. We didn't face any problem and even the host's mother has given us the food for the baby. She was very kind as it feels like she was our grandmother. Because of this behaviour this place was turned out to be our best decision to stay at this place. A perfect place to stay for a family and if you have kid then it's a must go place. Food: Host makes an arrangement for home made cooked food from a nearby Gujarati Aunty whose thepla I would definitely recommend to try and in the breakfast she gives out poha/upma/thepla etc. Go for thepla and upma as it was very tasty and the food cost is also very very cheap in 50rs she gives so many food items in which 2 people can eat easily. Budget: If you don't find a hotel in sou then this homestay is the best choice cos it's very cost friendly and doesn't hurt your pocket too much. Besides the price is also ok compared to the prices being charged by the resort there i.e. 7k per night. Cons: 25km from SOU so if you don't go by your own vehicle then it's a problem for you.

A very new concept for me of home stay. It was an excellent experience. They have different types of rooms. I stayed in a standard room which was superb. Nice big, neat and clean rooms with a very homely atmosphere. Mr. Viral, uncle and aunty take personal interest in keeping the guest at ease and comfortable. Toilets and bathrooms are very clean and hot and cold water is available without any problem. There's a roof which can be used to do yoga or simply a gentle morning stroll with a beautiful view of the city and the red tower. The location is superb. Market is close by but still the home stay is very peaceful and enjoyable. And most importantly the statue of unity is just at a distance 20-30 minutes. I am always coming back to galaxy home stay. Thanks to the family for making my stay so memorable and comfortable.

This was a very memorable stay. We checked in at late night but were gladly welcomed by the host. As per the name, it is really a good homestay we felt very comfortable. The host was very humble and helpful. - Clean and Descent Rooms - Ample Parking Space. - 24*7 Hot Water Facility. Incase if you are planning to visit, call the host before reaching as the location is not precisely updated due to small town area.

I stayed with family for 2 nights as part of our entourage for Statue of Unity few days back. Very hospitable family, they really took good care of us. Viral bhai and his family lives in the same house, so it's a very homely atmosphere. The pros are - 1. Big spacious rooms 2. Great ambience and hospitality 3. Reasonably priced 4. Just 25 mins drive from Statue of Unity 5. All the rooms are fitted with a/c Some cons are - 1. It's a Homestay, so one needs to carry their own toiletries and towels 2. Currently no facility of breakfast and food, but the family made tea for us early morning on day one and was kind enough to allow us use their kitchen for making it the next day 3. Toilets and bath are outside of rooms, like how it usually happens in a typical small city house, but well enclosed 4. The mattress are awesome, but the size of beds are a bit small. I am 5.8 and the length was just enough. Anyone longer would feel the feet hanging. However, I brought this to notice of Viral bhai while I was leaving and just a week later he promptly called me and updated that he has changed the beds and mattresses to full size. While there aren't too many options around, this is certainly a good one. It checks the boxes of cleanliness and home feeling. Only if you are looking for luxury or hotel kind of services, than you will be disappointed. I am going there even the next time I am in that area.

It's a big bungalow like place where you can very safely stay with your family and women. They have several rooms for other customers. No umarried couples allowed here. A family of 3, stays in the bungalow too. The rooms are large, mattresses clean, blankets clean. The auntie also made us in the morning which was a nice gesture. After booking call the owner to avoid using google maps as you might get lost in the streets. They have secured parking too. Go without any hesitation. One thing I'd say is the bathrooms needed to be inside the deluxe room we booked

We went there as a family of 3 and we had booked VIP room. The room was spacious and had a big terrace as well with a swing. It is central part of city with a bit narrow roads, but car parking is available and the host guided us very well. Overall it was a great stay. In morning, the host provided tea and coffee on complimentary basis. (Tea was really very tasty and made my Mom's day) The owners, an elderly couple is very lovable and make you comfortable in new place.

Galaxy Homestay is located in a small bylane at Rajpipla. The property is managed by Mr. Viral Bhatt and his family who live in the same house in ground floor. We stayed at the VIP/ Honeymoon suite for one night during our trip to Statue of Unity. The VIP room is situated on 1st floor which was spacious enough for 4 adults. We also got access to a private open terrace connected to the room and swing to our disposal. The closed parking space for car/bike is about 50 metres away from the maim homestay location. The VIP room has an attached dedicated bathroom. Apart from VIP room, rest of the rooms have shared bathroom/ washrooms which are very clean and well maintained in the terrace area. They have different sized rooms with the largest room being big enough to accomodate 10 persons. This makes it an attractive option for large family/ groups who want to stay together on their trip. The owner, Mr. Viral Bhatt is a charming person who will make you feel at home instantly with his smile and gracious attitude. He introduced us to his family and gave us a tour of his entire house. He also gave us his tips to plan our tour to statue of unity and nilkanth dham in poicha which were really useful. You would get a homely feeling which was a new experience for me considering my first homestay. At present you do not get any option for ordering food in the room (apart from tea/ coffee) as it is a homestay after all, but the owner informed us of his plan to build an adjacent restaurant pretty soon. A highly recommended property for those travelling in medium sized groups.
