The Galaxy Hotel

Had a good experience with them...rooms were in good condition and spacious.... also everything was working fine....the food was decent and service was also good... Location is also pretty good there are shops open till late night.

Its a horrible hotel. I would not recommend anyone to stay here. There is no doorboy to help you with your luggage in early hours or late hours. They are very short staffed. They do not even give you a working key. You need to call reception staff to open your room every time. You don't get breakfast if you check out early in the morning. The jet spray in our room was leaking. There was a cockroach in our room. The rooms are not very clean. The hotel itself is on the third floor of a commercial building. You get better option for lesser price. 1 out of 5 rating. Highly not recommended.

I had a wonderful experience at Galaxy Hotel in Rajkot. I booked my stay online to take advantage of the great rates. The hotel was clean and rooms were spacious, comfortable, and the bathroom was especially impressive in terms of cleanliness.

However, the cleanliness of the rooms was maintained reasonably well throughout my stay, which is commendable for a budget accommodation option. On the dining front, the hotel's restaurant provided a satisfactory breakfast spread, albeit limited in variety. The quality of food was decent, but it would benefit from diversifying the options available to cater to various dietary preferences. Regarding amenities, the hotel had a modest set of facilities, including a small gym and a swimming pool. While these additions were appreciated, they could use some enhancement in terms of maintenance and size to better serve guests. Terrible and poor. we had booked 6 rooms and below are the list of issues. 1) 0 parking space. so if come by car you need to park in the main road which is no parking zone. 2) The entrance to this hotel is awful, with all spit pan and dirty all over the place before you take the lift 3) The Flush will not work, you have use extra water to flush out your poop 4)Most of the room had broken wall or roof where the paints had fallen off. 5) For the first time, I see that there are no locker keys given to us. If the door closes, we have start searching for the officials who will not be found at reception anyways 6) Water bottles are filled by them when they give it. They don't have courtesy to even inform that these are used ones 7)All the Electric dockets are useless as when you plug in the charger it will fall off. 8) No hot water. 9)We were 15 in the family taking 15 luggage on our own. Not even a single soul offered help to carry luggage. They were just seeing us at reception and muted.

Rooms are not maintained at all, either the taps won't work or the Fan or the AC, and staff would say it's an old hotel you can't expect all things to work.

Most rooms of the hotel has either leakage or cooling issue. Best part is they don't share the key with you. Everytime you want to open the door, you'll have to ask the staff to open it. There's no locker in the rooms so your personal belongings are pretty much unsafe. Some rooms have ac that does not work with remote. Others most definitely has leakage in the bathroom basin. The lift is pathetic and the service is even worse.
