This place is also known as Sagar Darshan. Currently poorly managed. We were made to wait unduly long before check in. The rooms are spacious and Sagar facing. A lot of pests in the room. Elevator is working. The restaurant did not serve Gujarati thali in lunch. Better to visit Maheshwari dining hall for both the meals. This place is not worth the price. Do not choose this place for stay. Infact would be better to stay at Maheshwari or Leelavati. Such poor management is not expected from Somnath trust.

All of their room are sea view only. Though I have noticed that few rooms have balcony and few dont. The premium rooms in which we stayed didn't had balcony. At night you can go to their garden facing the sea and wander around with a peaceful walk.

The property is HIGHLY MISMANAGED, illiterate staff execute tasks in leisure. Check In Check Out process is horrifying. Restaurant: They keep teasing guests till food is ordered. They expect guests to place entire order at once... What sense?? Overall they really need to learn management from scratch. Don't pay for the ONE and ONLY USP of Sea view rooms Sea view: 5/5 Rooms: 2/5 Staff and service: 0/5 Restaurant: 0/5

The place is such a badly managed, road to hotel is absolute worst. Staff are so rude that they don't even smile. Every question and demands ends with "NO". Restaurant is mess and staff are illerate and with no manners. And price is at of 3 Star Hotel. Services are like dharamshala.

One of the most worst service.. Except sea view there is nothing good here. Smelly washroom, landline not working, inferior quality blankets & so on. Overall stay is same like a cheap lodge.

The rooms are below average. They are damp. The only usp of the place is it shares it's boundary with the somnath temple and has a fantastic sea view as it is bang opp the sea. All rooms face the sea, so u take any room does not matter. Unlike Mumbai, despite its proximity to the sea it is not humid at all. The check in is horrendous and is highly mismanaged. While people had begun to check out 3 hrs before the scheduled checkout time i.e 10am, the guy at the lobby checked everyone in at 11am. The restaurant serves good food but hospitality management needs lot to improve on. The dinner buffet was overbooked and it was utter chaos as to where to sit. The cashier was least bothered about the same. The waiters too were confused if the buffet guests could occupy a-la carte area. One waiter even had the audacity to tell me to get up from the place. This would never happen in Mumbai. Not to mention there was all hands down mob fight between 2 groups. While the groups were fighting almost leading to a riot, the hotel manager was conspicuous of the commotion and managed his routine. Ridiculous!! The rooms are large with balconies opening into the sea but the standard is pretty ordinary or even below ordinary. All and all the hotel is good as long as you want to a decent hotel close to the temple.

Sagar Darshan is very near to the Somnath Temple and you will get sea view also. The only downside of the place is that it will be always damp with salty mist because of the sea. The rooms are comfortable and budget friendly, they are not luxurious. The cafeteria is ok, the staff isn't prompt on responding and took usually a good amount of waiting for the order. Overall the experience was good.

Overpriced for what you get. This Hotel not maintained properly, power plugs does not work , room is smelly, bed is not comfy. Only positives are its close to somnath temple and has a good restaurant.
