Sagar Darshan Guest House

We stayed at Sagar Darshan VIP Guest house from 27.02.25 to 02.03.25.Had a very good experience in every aspect. Excellent location cozy and comfortable rooms with beautiful view of Arabian sea from every room. Spacious balconies. Very cooperative and soft spoken staff. Food very good and economical. Excellent view of light & sound show of temple and sun set from guesthouse itself. Only one negative point which is beyond reasonable understanding that they deduct GST(@35%) on returnable interst free security deposit which I think is legally incorrect. There shouldn't be any GST applicable on this security deposit. Rest everything quiet good.

Jai Somnath |We were been in Sagar Darshan for 2 day to be very Frank it's outstanding stay in terms of all aspects. Highly recommend for family trip as having ample play area for kids best sightseeing (Ocean View) for photo & fresh air..... Restaurant in the basement area blessed with delicious food in a very affordable price.

Superb location. Sea facing balcony.spacious rooms and clean too.most important we can see Somnath Mahadev temple right from the balcony . restaurant is also good.but the breakfast should be complementary.

Proximity to the temple makes this guest house very lucrative in terms of convenience, its right at the sea shore so the nights and the early mornings are very calming. I tried their buffet which was not very good, they also have an A la Carte option from the menu and a separate restaurant called the Neopolitan Pizza. Also there is a scam going on here whilst booking online so be aware.

Hotel location is very close to Somnath temple , hardly 10 mins by walk. Rooms are very spacious and staff were very humble and supportive.Room services are also exceptionally good. Only issue we got that there washroom having stinky smell always like sewage.

I had a very bad experience with Sagar Guest House in Somnath. They insisted on an advance payment but asked me to transfer it to a personal account instead of an official one. After I made the payment, they canceled my booking and refused to refund my money. This seems like a planned scam, and I would strongly advise others to avoid online payments to them. Be very careful when dealing with this guest house. ---

I had made a payment of 3,100 rupees to a person who was supposed to send me a receipt as proof of the transaction. Initially, he assured me that he would provide the receipt without any delay. However, after making the payment, I realized that the receipt he sent was fake. When I tried to contact him to clarify the issue and demand a genuine receipt, he started avoiding my calls. Despite multiple attempts to reach him, he has not responded to my phone calls or messages. This situation is extremely frustrating because I trusted him and made the payment in good faith, expecting an authentic receipt in return. Now that I know the receipt is fake, I am worried that I have been scammed. It is unfair and unethical for someone to take money and then disappear without fulfilling their promise. I have tried contacting him through different means, but he refuses to answer my calls or respond to my messages. This clearly indicates that he has no intention of returning my money or providing me with a legitimate receipt. I am feeling helpless and do not know what to do next. I urgently need help in recovering my money. If there is any legal action I can take or any steps I should follow to report this fraud, please guide me. I am willing to provide any necessary proof of the payment I made, including transaction details, messages, or any other evidence that can help resolve this matter. I hope to get my money back as soon as possible.

Worst service ever. Reception guys are the rudest people i have ever met in my life. The way they behave with guests is very insulting. Room service is the worst. Never visiting again. I hope this review is helpful. It used to be a good place before but since the renovation, they behave like they own everyone.
