The Fern Residency, Porbandar

The stay was good as the rooms , pool was well maintained. Good peaceful location BUT the staff in the restaurant - from senior to junior - very inefficient. There were very few guests as it's recently opened but they were so busy chitchatting among themselves that they would forget the order. Need more professional & committed staff. Quality of food needs to improve.

The hotel offers a comfortable room with a pleasant and peaceful ambiance, and we particularly enjoyed the beautiful sea view. However, a few aspects of our stay were disappointing and detracted from the overall experience.||We were asked to vacate the public seating area at night, which felt unwelcoming, especially as there was no prior communication about time restrictions. Additionally, we received a call an hour before our scheduled checkout, inquiring about our exact departure time. This felt unnecessary and unprofessional.||Another concern was the lack of transparency around minibar charges, which were not clearly communicated in advance and appeared as a hidden cost. Given these issues, and considering the surrounding locality, we found the overall pricing to be quite high for the value offered.

Good is very tasty...staff service is also nice. Very polite & humble staff. Supriya is waiter his nature is very helpful. Try specially hakka noddles, crispy veg & sweet lassi. Restaurant is very nice interior and we do anniversary party here and enjoy a lot. Thank you

Must recommend as the service is really good. The staff members are really cooperative. The room is neat and clean, and the sea view is beautiful from the balcony. The food they provided is tasty and of good quality. Again, the fern proved itself the best as it is known for it.

We stayed in this hotel 3 nights & we found it very nice & clean only opened two 2months ago. All the staff were very helpful, my mother's bathroom was leaking, and the staff were not able to sort it out immediately, so she was given another right away. The hotel is lovely. I hope it stays clean & maintained well as it should be. We came from London to visit friends and family.

The business function arrangements were good at banquet. Starters and Food was good. The location in front of sea and spacious makes it very attractive. Nice place to hang out with family in Porbandar. Being outside the city it is a quiet place.
