Vijay Vilas Heritage Resort

Wonderful experience at Vijay Vilas Heritage Resort. The Rooms are very comfortable! Bathrooms are clean and spacious. They have Private beach around 1.5 Km from the property, Dinners are organized on Beach side, (Roads for travel to beach are not good) But once you reach to the Beach, you can enjoy peaceful sunset, Enjoy with your family as only permitted people allowed. The Food is very delicious and finger licking. The Vijay Vilas Palace is at walking distance only (400 to 500 meters) Overall Highly Recommended for Family and Beach Lovers.

Everything is good about the resort. The people managing it are quite professional. The rooms are clean and well equipped. The food is quite good. The only issue that we faced was that the road from the resort to beach is in very bad shape. Except this we everything during the stay. The resort itself is very close to nature and it was a pleasure to watch the dew drops on the leaves ( and our car) in the morning

Just wonderful in all terms. Have to stay here, nowhere else. We got a villa which felt like being somewhere in a safari national park, a 2 minute walk to the palace. Manager, cannot recall his name, lived in middle east so got to practice some arabic. Hotel arranged a dinner at a private beach and met my special request of what to eat, it was cooked to perfection and the chef came to ask how it was. A fire was lit on the beach with other guests and this was an experience which we can never forghe, Breakfast was brilliant as well. Worth staying 2 nights as the ambience is so beautiful and in December the weather too. Cannot fault this property.|Management continue with the good work.

One of the worst resorts I have been to in a very very long time. Rooms are small and untidy. Very dated and require renovation. The bathrooms have no hot water and is impossible to use during winters. Food is very average. The restaurant by the beach is infested with bugs and requires better planning and decor. Overall please do not go here even on a free stay.

We had booked a villa but due to some confusion we reached a day late as we were traveling by road. We were accomodated in their heriratage room. Although grateful, we ended up paying too much for a shabby room with no character.|The room was not in any state or condition to be part of a 'palace resort'. |The food was tasty but very limited spread served in run-down dining hall.|They do have a private beach, which is clean and tidy, but the property is quite far from their beach area. You can only reach there using a transport riding through thick forest.|The dinner was served on the beach in a featureless and dull shed.|There are hardly activities that can be enjoyed at the beach, making the experience really boring and monotonous.| The palace is a tourist attraction, and there is always a huge crowd there. Wirh just one counter, there is a long queue to procure the ticket for the palace.|The staff was uninterested and lazy.|This was not the experience that we expected.The place needs a complete overhaul, for sure.| |

Went with family. The beach was too far from resort and the road leading to it was not good. The staff was ok. Our Room was big and spacious but the washroom was a little weird. It was noisy in the morning. Food was great

Best and beautiful place..... Beach dinner service were superb... Our NRI friends were very much pleased...by courteous service.. The two managers (don't know the name) were amazing.. Fully satisfied.. Thanks

Amazing place to stay and relax. Staff service excellent. Food taste, hygiene and quality awesome. Private beach is truly private only for resort guests. Beach side dinners is extraordinary service they are providing. Resort is in middle of forest and just besides the Vijay Vilas palace. In short even if you feel it costly it's definitely worth. My sincere thanks to her highness Rani baa to open resort in such a wonderful place.
