The Fern Leo Beach Resort, Madhavpur - Gujarat

Well an amazing location, well thought property with adequate facilities however not well maintained. Washrooms were not clean, be it the room one or the common one, would say the same for bedsheets. Games as well, not properly maintained. Rooms could be refurbished/ or repaired. Food is great but will take its sweet time to be served so have patience! Staff is quiet courteous. All in all a good place to spend a day in.

My stay at this hotel was truly exceptional. The location is perfect, offering easy access to the beach, which feels like a private escape. The rooms were spotless, well-maintained, and comfortable. The staff stood out for their warm hospitality, always ready to assist with a friendly smile. The food was outstanding, from the delicious breakfast spread to the exquisite meals throughout the day. The pool was sparkling clean, adding to the relaxing atmosphere. Overall, an unforgettable experience--I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a perfect getaway.

The best i could ever ask for....Thank you for making my best friend's birthday the best and would totally come again. Not just the place but the staff and the food and the environment and the amenities all are superb, glad to be your guest and would love to be again. Cared to get the cake for birthday and let us be near the pool to celebrate and till whenever we want to. Thank you for being one of my best memories

**Terrible Experience at The Fern Madhavpur Beach** I had one of the worst dining experiences at The Fern restaurant at Madhavpur Beach. The **food quality was absolutely terrible** -- completely tasteless, poorly prepared, and not even close to what was promised on the menu. Many of the items listed were **"not available,"** and even when we ordered something that *was*, it was missing key ingredients clearly mentioned in the menu. This shows either **carelessness or a complete lack of professionalism** in the kitchen. The **service was equally disappointing.** Slow, disorganized, and the staff seemed uninterested in helping or even acknowledging guests properly. It's clear that **there is no attention to detail or commitment to guest satisfaction**. Overall, a **very bad experience**. I do not recommend this place at all -- **save your time and money** and go somewhere that actually cares about food and service.

I visited this place expecting a good meal, but unfortunately, there were barely any items available on the menu. Most of the dishes were "unavailable," which was frustrating. The food I finally managed to order was of poor quality - bland, stale, and not worth the price at all. Service was slow and unorganized. Definitely not coming back or recommending this place to anyone.

I had booked the hotel for 24th February - 26th February. In short the whole place is pathetic. Fail to understand how Fern can go down to such depth and provide franchise to such a horrible place. I thought I had chosen one of the best hotels to enjoy my marriage anniversary. The moment I made contact with the reception I knew that I had made a big mistake. The reception to the hotel and the counter to the restaurant are one. Anyway I checked into the hotel and was allotted Room No. 103. The entire place was very small, smelly. The furniture was broken. The glass door was stained so badly that it was evident the glass had not been cleaned for months. The upholstery was stained. There were food stains. The bed sheet was torn. Paint was peeling every where inspite the room was on the first floor. The wash room was dark and the exhaust was not working. In my entire lifespan of 60 yrs I had never such a condition of the room. I had paid Rs. 16,400+ for 2 nights. I would not have paid more than Rs. 1500 per night. Add Rs. 400 for the AC. The management of the hotel asked us to shift to Room No. 109. But the conditions of all the rooms is the same. All the photographs are rendered images. The images does not reflect the true condition of the hotel. The rooms are not on the beach. There is a pubic road between the hotel and the swimming pool of the hotel. (ha ha what a location and design of the hotel) I never imagined in my wildest dreams that the Fern Executives could get on board such a lousy place. Anyway I immediately checked out and drove further 2 hours and checked into Radhika Resort in Diu. I would like to thank the Fern executives who had the audacity to spoil my Marriage Anniversary fully.

Madhavpur beach, about 50+ km from Porbandar is a very good destination for the beach lovers. The Hotel Toran operated by The Fern (Leo) is offering a very good stay, private beach and pool side, and food. The pricing is little on higher side, but service is good. Enjoyed the stay with family and cousins.
