The Fern Residency, Jamnagar

Pathetic service. Took around 40 min to checkout. Seems staff is not trained enough to manage the customers. Also, they charged me for a dirty towel. Being from hotel industry they don't know that white towel is used in hotels so that it can be easily cleared through bleach. I paid 250 plus taxed. Be careful while using their items, they might charge you for that. Also, one of the guest was complaining that he didn't used anything from room but staff was charging him for chips packed and cold drink. When I had gone through reviews then I found that similar incident was highlighted by other customer too. Seems their staff is either cheating with customer or they are eating the packets and then blaming the customer and forcing them to pay the amount. Would never recommend this hotel to anyone ever in my life. Such a same for hospitality sector.

1. Didn't get hot water for two days. 2. Malfunction in fire alarm. There was some malfunctioning with fire alarm in my room. It started sounding at very high volume when I was in deep sleep two times. 3. Only one person was available at reception desk. It took 50 minutes to complete check in formalities. I already told him that we have drove full night and very tired still it was very slow 4. I had to carry my luggage on my own. No staff was there 5. Breakfast quality is very Good

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Hotel. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel welcomed and at home. Check-in was smooth, and they were very helpful in answering any questions I had about the local area. The room itself was spotless, spacious, and well-equipped with everything I needed.||The amenities were top-notch, especially the mention any standout features like restaurant, or fitness center, Go Karting etc.I enjoyed specific activities, like a delicious breakfast, gamezone and PVR. which made the experience even more memorable.|||I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a great stay. I'll definitely be back the next time I'm in town!

I recently dining at The Fern Residency , Jamnagar and was thoroughly impressed by both the exquisite cuisine and the impeccable service. The menu showcased a variety of innovative dishes, blending bold flavors and beautiful presentation. The attentive and knowledgeable staff ensured that our meal was a memorable one, providing excellent recommendations and ensuring our satisfaction. I can't recommend The White Sand Restaurant enough for a fantastic dining experience. Thank you

The staff were helpful and did their best to address any concerns. Rooms size was decent and had all things one would need, Breakfast spread was great.|There is a gamezone and a theatre attached to the hotel which is great , especially when you have kids, or want to pass time | |More could be done to address room cleanliness, and related issues before guests check in. Our air conditioner stopped working in the middle of night, so staff changed us to another room. Although this solved the problem, the whole change was one big inconvenience especially with a toddler.||As it is located on the outskirts, there is no market, or shops outside the hotel, just a busy road. you need to commute 10-15 mins to get anywhere

The hotel room is spacious and well maintained. The staff at counter are courteous and very cooperative and their dealing is very vivacious and vibrant. The restaurant services are also outstanding and shining. Response is very much positive. Keep it up. Staff to upgrade with trainings and motivational program.

Arrived here but couldn't check in till 3pm. On reaching the room housekeeping staff just finished getting the room ready. On checking we found the bed linen had not been changed and the sheets etc were crumpled and dirty. Housekeeping supervisor was also clueless when asked how he expected us, senior citizens to use soiled bed linen. When we told him that it was a health hazard, he didn't seem to understand and looked blank. We wonder if the management is aware of this and encourages these kind of irresponsible actions. It looked like they had a shortage and no clean bed linen on hand.This is a black mark on the reputation of the FERN hotels. When we book a room, the least and basic things we expect are clean bed linen, towels and a clean room and bathroom. All these were absent. P.S. After we got the rooms after 2 hours of waiting, we found that the toilet flush in both the rooms we'd booked were not working. Our entire evening schedule for sight seeing got upset thanks to the irresponsible and 'don't care' attitude of the staff here. Please think twice before booking here as there's no proper leadership. On being questioned the staff tell lies not only to the customer but also to the manager. The whole experience this afternoon was very disgusting and frustrating! PPS Major confusion while checking out again. The faux pas never seems to end. They're not prepared for the peak season. Staff training and competence is badly missing. No senior person is present to assist the trainee like guys at the reception counter. Hopelessness at its height!

I stayed here for two nights and my experience was terrible. When I entered my room, it was only superficially cleaned. The bathroom was dirty, there were empty packs with no dental kit, no slippers nothing. The dustbin was not even emptied out. The bathroom was clogged. The bathroom had a sewage smell. I had arrived late at night, so I decided not to change the room. However was stay was extended by one more night. Next morning I went to the desk to tell them about cleaning requirements. The housekeeping came two minutes before I my lunch was about to arrive. They never came after that. When I asked for slippers, the guy who came, he entered my room without asking, opened my cupboard to see if the slippers were there. The second day I asked for water, which wasn't provided to me. Lunch was another story. After taking the order, they took half an hour to inform that it can't be given. I talked to the manager and he agreed and said 15 min. They took another hour to get the lunch ready and it wasn't even what I had ordered. And the explanation was that the hotel is full.
