Shaam-E-Sarhad Village Resort - Kutch

Those who loves village atmosphere then must visit this resort. A light aroma of mitti & mud feels good. Staff members are very helpful & polite. Rooms were near & Clean. You will get Desi food here. Cultural program with bone fire and people sitting round to them.

We were given 2 of the worst possible tents. We were to stay for 2 nights but checked out within a day. Yes, we knew Rann was cold, but with huge gaps in the tent walls, there was no way one could sleep in these tents. After some ruckus, the staff came and stuffed bedsheets in the gap, which helped to a certain extent. The food was good and tasty. The tea for the cold was excellent.

Excellent place to stay. Don't expect luxury of Tent City, basic but nice. Staff was welcoming and helped with every requirement. (Jain) Food was delicious and unlimited. This place is run by locals of Banni area and hence not commercial. Evening was program included bonfire and local Sindhi Sufi music. Breakfast was light but sufficient. It takes about 15-20 min to reach Rann Utsav from here which was comfortable. Currently it's two lane road and construction of four lane is in full swing. Should be done in Feb 2025. All in all, a great place to stay and great experience.

The last week we(self,wife and daughter) spent 3 wonderful days at this resort and had a lifetime experience. The "Bhunga" stay was our first experience and has left life long memories full of pleasure and joy. The necessary amenities were there,comfortable beds,hot water,nice w/c and bathroom,good tasty home like local delicacies but the silver lining was the approach ,behavior and courtesy of attending staff as they looked after every minute requirements, for which we,indeed, are grateful. Our most interaction was with the young lad Rahim bhai and Mushtakq bhai.The incharge Mr Rashid and Siddiq bhai too were at their best. Firoze Bhatti who was our companion in trip is an extraordinary cordial person, good human being, a perfect driver and very considerate ,caring and humble person. When visiting next time have "Shame E Sarhad" your abode.

Basic things like water in the basin does not work. Even after multiple requests, no action taken to resolve the issue. Hand shower in the bathroom is kept broken. Dirty linen. Paid 15K for two nights. Absolutely not recommended.

It's a beautiful resort. Little away from white desert but that's an advantage also. It's away from crowded place. The people there are so warm and hospitality is absolutely amazing. The food is so homely and tasty. I would only suggest the tents shud be little more maintained.
