I visited there to book rooms but the rooms were not in a good condition. In the day only it was feeling like the bhutiya bunglow. The lift was not working and the hotel is on 4th floor, there is no appropriate signs to find the hotel. Also on the stairs which is the way to hotel, smells so bad (like public toilet). Hope they take some action and make some improvements.

It truly deserves high ratings. The food is "Finger Licking Good". The service is amazing. The new owner is really putting high efforts to make it the best hotel in godhra. All the five stars are for the great efforts and hard work to make city inn or The Venture one of best experience for the customers.
You can rate it 3 star hotel. Good Hotel to stay in and dine in. You will surely love food and amazed with the service. Maintained the taste of Sabjie. If you're going for first time then try #Kaju #Paneer Masala you will love it!! Try out ice cream #hot #chocolate #brownie. Stay is also good. Suite room is nice and clean. Very near to #Godhara bus station. Easily noticable. Need to work on maintenance. Because as a customer everyone excepts more. Overall good experience.
Food might be okay, but the quality of service was very bad. Also the promised things which the manager "Mr. Neeraj" were not delivered, moreover there were no attendees while we had the function for any kind of assistance may it be the food service, the air conditioning issue or the music system. I can say that if you want to get the worst experience for any kind of functions you're hosting i would recommend you this place.
Worst service ever. Reception had dusty seats nd it was full of pungent smell. They would charge you rs 50 for cutting tea. . The washroom was ugly as hell and had no lights. They would inform you about restaurant being a buffet, but then add extra charges for the food consumed.. In conclusion do not visit if you have sane mind
Worst experience. I would've given it a negative rating but sadly it only take least of 1 star. Had paid for deluxe room including breakfast. Rooms are of very low quality hotels for the price of 3 star. It is way further to reach for 1 star hotel. For breakfast they just gave us 2 bread with butter (tbey said so) can't find butter on the bread. Tea was so bad I have to ask them to bring tea from outside. I thought rooms would be cleaner and good to stay if I upgrade to premium or suite but they all are same pungent smell in all the rooms just the premium and suite had more carpet area. Washrooms were unhygienic, looks like they don't clean them regularly. Connection for television is not there they just hung the TV on wall for display. Staff behavior is not good, they don't even know how to answer they just look you straight in the eye unanswered when asked for good room, food or anything else. The lock on my room is too rusty, it took me 10 minutes to lock and the worst part is to open the door, I've spent 15 minutes opening it, have to ask some guys help to open. A deluxe room in a 3 star hotel for Rs. 2100 including breakfast, I thought some decent hygienic room with not much but a clean washroom (not a lavish room with fancy things), not 3 course meal but something like poha (not some bread pieces without butter) or anything light breakfast with tea (not a cup of under boiled water with hardly a spoon of milk drink). Just unhygienic hotel with terrible food and under qualified staff and off course including the chef because he didn't know how a bread butter should be. Way Worst that worst experience staying here. I will never ever staying here anymore and will never suggest anyone to stay here for even 600. If you are paying for something you need it to be price worthy but this hotel is not worth it's 1/3rd price they charge. And yes thats what a 400 breakfast looks like. You can see in photos.
Rooms are highly overpriced for what they offer. Never book a banquet with them. We booked even though they were overpriced because we heard a lot of praise of the place in the town. They have zero sense of accountability, no respect for customers and don't know how to talk. The person who called himself the manager didn't even have manners to talk and didn't know what hospitality is. We pre-booked a hall and rooms, deposited some money months before my engagement. Due to covid second wave, the guests were reduced and when we called the hotel to confirm the total no. of rooms few days before the function, he threatened me and said we have to pay for all the rooms now and said he got tvs in rooms repaired just for us and it's worth 2.5 lakhs, so who will bear that cost!! As if he did that just for us and not because the hotel SHOULD have working TVs!! Then when I contested saying how's that even fair, or how's that a rule when no one has even checked in yet that we have to pay for all the rooms even when we don't need all, he then said he won't give us 'his hall and rooms'. We had to cancel the rooms and hall and book for all guests in another hotel and hall a day before the engagement due to his attitude and non-cooperation from anyone, we asked him to keep the deposit money to him. We can never forget this bad experience. I would have given zero star if I could. If he had talked in the same tone when we went for booking, we'd have never booked in advance with them. But giving three stars for another higher authority person who knew my dad and later looked into this matter, sent him to our home to return the deposit money and apologize for this experience. That gesture was very nice but wish we didn't have to go through what we did. I hope they've trained their staff now and specially those who sit in their office regarding hospitality and ethical way of conducting a hotel business. And I hope no one else faces the same as we did.
The hotel is supposedly the best in Godhra. Gives decent rooms. Although the first room they gave me had no door knob in the bathroom. The staff insisted I must take it and I had to finally scold him to make him understand. The second room was better.||Staff was cooperative otherwise and polite as well.||In the morning I wanted to have breakfast and they said I should go to their restaurant. But I kept sitting in the restaurant for 15 minutes without anyone bothering to check what I wanted to order. I called the waiter several times who was busy pulling curtains over windows. Even though I asked him not darken the restaurant on a nice bright morning, he insisted that's how it was to be. (What the customer wants is immaterial).||Anyway, after waiting for long I just got up and left and still no one was bothered. I finally ate in a dhaba downstairs.||The hotel booked a cab for me from a travel agency that gave me a car where the gears wouldn't work properly and the car couldn't go above 60 even on the Godhra Ahmedabad highway. Despite charging over Rs 3000 for the journey from Godhra to gandhinagar, the cab driver tried taking me off the highway to save on kilometers. When I insisted that take the highway as the other route would have too much traffic and would delay me, his employer called me to say that I would have to pay Rs 170 toll on the highway. That was the level of this agency.
